College Life.

I don't find any negative things in my college. I just love the College. Teachers are very friendly. Whenever you go with your doubts. They will make you clear of yours doubts. Mostly I enjoyed with my companions. They help me lot in various ways.

Presently I am pursuing economics major. I am enjoying it. My college is under Guwahati university. We have 6 semesters. Now I am on 5th semester. We have sessional exam before the final exam. Sessional exams marks are added on final exam.

No, there is no placements or job opportunity. No, they don't provide internship. My college has just streams like for HS we have arts and commerce. And for degree we have BA ,BSC, IT, BBA. These days they are offering computer courses.

There are many events organised in my college. Firstly on the last week of Jan we have varsity week. We participate in many events held in it. Then every year we held youth conclave. We enjoy our fullest for 2 or 3 days. Many famous artists are invited in these programs. Then we have fresher's on august or September. We organised freshers as a whole college as well as we have department freshers. And in between many events are held by colleges. Recently there was All Assam Teachers Association.

My colleges fee structure is feasible. We just need to pay around 5000 to 6000 for a year. Then after one year we have to pay for another more year. My college is a government college. My college is affiliated to Guwahati university in Assam.

My college dnt offer scholarships. But they let us know information about various Scholarships offer by govt that is Ishan Uday scholarship, Minority scholarship, ST/SC/OBC scholarship, merit based scholarship. I applied for Ishan Uday scholarship but there is no response from it.

In my college we have lots of extracurricular activities. Our labs facilities are also good. Every year we have varsity week. We participate in many games. Many games are available. We have a stadium near my college that is Nehru stadium we go there and play.

My college doesn't have Girls hostel. So I stays in Paying guest. It is like a hostel system. We have warden. We have more than 30 students. We belong to different colleges. It's infrastructure is very good. I have to pay 5500 monthly for Pg.

Yes, recently my department had alumni we enjoyed a lot. Yes they are helpful. We came to know what they are doing presently. We learn that they are many other courses available. We came to know about there hardships.

I applied in B Borooah college. It was very tough to get the admission. I waited nearly for 5 hours for admission. They were calling the names by merit list. Then I got my admission. After admission there was entrance test for opting major. So I took the exam and I got the major.

My college have very good faculty. They arrange various conferences and teach children many things about pursuing career, time management etc. As per my department economics they take us for survey every year in rural areas. We learn a lot from it.
