Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculam focused on both therotical concepts and practical application. This attracts me to choose this university. The university is well known for its research opportunities. It will help in go further. The way of teaching methods needs to improve.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees I paid - 47300/- For management category fees of first year- 47300/- Second year fees - 46300/- Exam fees - 2500/- For General category fees of first year - 23300/- Second year fees - 22300/-

Campus Life

5

University yearly held event called sambrama. This is of 3 days. All departments studens are participated in this event. It was more memorable moment.I really enjoyed a lot. The mesmerising place of the university is library. Here you found a huge collection of every subjects. Easy to borrow, read. This area is sorrounded by nature. The university organizes sports competition annualy. The students are run social groups, club which bring good impact in student life.

Admission

I applied to only this college. Because I already research about this college. I had clarity that I should go for this. Compare to other colleges this college has less fees, good naac grade, well versed facluties. Before admission entrance exam was there. This exam is only for computer science students. If we took good marks in this exam. We get general seat and pay half amount of fes.

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio is 1:2 They are very much approachable with students. All the faculty are subject expertise. I like professor Dr Manjaiah and Mr Prakash M. They are very humble and down to earth personality. They listen each and every problem of each students. Some guest lecturer was not good. They even not bothered about students doubts.Yearly we had 2 semister. Semister wise they will conduct the exam. It was not difficlut and not easy also.5% students failed to clear the exams.

Night Life

5

Cafetaria Library Tree park Yakshagana kala mandira everyones favourite spot.Tree park is my personal hangout place. In this place we had lot of discussion about exams, lecturer. Hostel timings is 6pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
