College Life of SRCCE

I choose this course because it helps in formation of foundation in commerce, finance and business management . The way of teaching the theoratical subjects is very good and easily understandable .The course curriculum is very helpful and it prepares you well for the real world applications and in further academy pursuits. But the college should improve the teaching in practical subjects as they do not teach the practical subjects in effective manner. There is one Internal exam and one External exams in one semester. The External exam is conducted by the MGKVP. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate.

The internship provided by the college is very average. You will not get many internship oppurtunity on campus. You have to apply off campus for the good internship oppurtunities. Nearly (20-30%) of the students get the good on campus internships. For off campus internship you have to work on your skills and work on good quality projects.

There are total 6 semester in my course. The students become eligible for the course from the 4th semester onwards. The placements are not good in the college. It's very average. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.

The total fees for my course (Bachelor of commerce) for 1st year is 15,500 rupees. The fees is same for all the categories. The detailed fee structure for the course B.Com. is as follow : Registration fees : 3,000 rupees ; Tution fees : 9,000 rupees ; University examination fess : 1,100 ; College Development fees : 1,000 ; Library fees : 1,000 ; Miscellaneous Facility fees : 400 But if you opt Computer as your additional subject then you have to pay 1500 rupees extra for the practical examination. The total fees for the course Bachelor of Arts (BA) is Rs. 7100 per year. The total fees for the course M.com is 19000 per year. There is no scholarship facility available in the college.

Our college celebrates various festivals and also have its annual day celebration . College organises various competition on festivals such as mehendi competition , rangoli competition during Diwali , etc. College celebrates on 26th january (Republic day) , 15th august ( Independence Day) , Annual day , and a fest for Freshers and farewell. In library there are all the books present which are related to your course , or you can say all the syllabus books are there in library.There is no clubs and societies present in the college.

In the Hostel room you will get one bed, on study table, one study chair, one almeerah and one ceiling fan. The hostel has free Wi-Fi facility. The quality of the food in the mess is average just like the other college hostels. There is different menu for the different day. The menu also changes with the change in season. The Registration for the hostel is done along with the admission process. The rate of the hostel is cheaper than the other hostels.

I applied for many other colleges for the admission like Bhartiya Hindu University (BHU) but did not get admission in it due to the higher cutoffs. I also applied for the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth main university but did not take admission there due to long distance . So I started looking for colleges near me and then I got to know about Shri Ram PG College Of Commerce And Education. It is near to my house . As I don't have any personal vehicle to travel with so I want college near and where I can travel easily by public transports.

The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable and experienced. Their teachin methadology is very good. The faculties of the college is very friendly and cooperative. You can ask your doubts any time to them through the calls and whatsapp. You can also ask your doubts by going into staff room in the free period. The HOD of the college is very hardworking. There are two semesters in one year. In one semesters there is one Internal Exam and one External Exam which is conducted by the MGKVP (as our college is affiliated to it). The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. The course curriculum is very helpful in the future studies.

There is gym inside the college campus. It's paid gym but I don't know much about that. There is a library in college campus . The library is a place where you can find peace and study in your free time. There is also a temple in the college campus . One thing is not good there is that there is no any canteen or cafeteria inside the college campus. But there are various restaurants and cafeterias just outside the college so you can easily hangout there.
