- You will be supported to participate in events and the attendance will be given if you are missing the classes for that particular event. which ultimatley helps us to access all other top colleges in bengaluru.
- The faculty is approchable and all your doubts will be solved by them in a very friendly way.
- college helps you to network with other people like not from your college. you will also get industrial exposure and cross culture exposure as students will be from different states and traditions.
Dislikes
- campus building is small and you dont get that big campus building life for such huge amount of fee that you pay.
- cost of living is very high like i live in bengaluru so the transportation is hectic and of high cost. for students who belong to a middle class family it will be difficult form them to afford sometimes.
- I personally feel the college fees is very high and its difficult for people like me who is from a middle class family to afford.
Course Curriculum Overview
i always wanted to do management as i dont like science. now im doind bba in business analytics and finance. I like analytics so much that im planning do my MBA in buiness analytics. This college helped me to choose this and i am always grateful for this. they have a very good faculaty for all the majors like rekha for analytics, rishiraj for finance etc.
Internships Opportunities
internships are offered by the college and it is compulsary to do a internship for third year students in the month of june and in december. throughout your UG you can do you internships remotely or else in holidays which of our individual choice.
Placement Experience
im still in my 4th sem .i.e. in 2nd year so havent faced the placements phase. placements are offered to students in the third year and you have a seperate committee called placements committee to do that. after getting the degree i would like to do a job simultaneously my CAT prep for my post grad
Fees and Financial Aid
At SCMS B, we have a annual tution fee of 3,75,000 which can be split into two installments for a year. You will be given a month time to pay your fees and can be done in different ways using banks or credit cards. a fixed deposit or a caution fee of 20,000 should be paid in the beginning of first year.
Campus Life
there will be a annual intercollege fest called sygnite where people from other colleges come and particapate and many fests and events going on through out the year . there are 16 committies and clubs as of now in SCMS'B.and we have a great exposure for all the other fests counducted by all other well known colleges in bengaluru.
Hostel Facilities
Meal quality is good you have different menus for different days. but the same menu is repeated every week, so students will get boared of it after sometime. In room you have all the facilities. But there are no AC's in hostels which makes it difficult in summers as bengaluru is becoming very hot in summers lately. But you have fridge, iron, induction, waterheater and otehr facilities.
Admission
I couldnot clear my IPMAT IIM Indore interview But i cleared other colleges like SCMS Pune, NMIMS mumbai and other top colleges but i choose this college due to my personal reasons. But after this i definately want to go to IIM for my further studies.
Faculty
At SCMS B , faculty is approchable and they have a healthy relationship with the students. every faculty is decent and they explain all your doubts if not they will try to know the topic and will suggest you all possible ways to clear your doubt and get a clesr view of the topic. In every sem you have Mid terms and final exams, excluding all internals.For externals you have final exams and for internals you have midterms, assignments,projects etc.
Interview Experience
First you have a common entrance exam called set(symbiosis entrance test) , then a we had WAT which is written ability test and then PI this is the process for the admission. most of the topics in the interview were about current affairs ,and the topics you mentioned in your resume. the process was easy for me
Night Life
yeah in college you have gym, cafeteria, library, reading room, labs and public area which is open for students. hostel has lot of facilities like ordering food online,fridge, cattel, induction etc. there are many hangout places near the hostel like kormangala etc. we have a very pleasant hostel facilities. we have a room with 4beds, 4study tables, 2washrooms and a balcony.
