Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course because now the b. Tech food technology have more scope in abroad The curriculum prepares as very well for real world like for interview etc.. the teaching methods are very good There is no difficult for me in exams
Internships Opportunities
According to students intrest the students can go to internship for any companies there is no restriction here , My senior gone internship to avin Milk factory, local multi-speciality hospitals Our senior are doing large projects for their future
Placement Experience
From 6th semester the students are getting place in good reputed companies Several companies visited like infosys ,apollo etc.. in every field The highest package offered is 15 lakhs per annum The average package is 50000 thousand per annum The percentage of students getting placements before completing the course is more than 85 percentage My plan is after getting degree I want do post graduation in that respective degree
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying 1.5 lakhs per year as fees for both academics and hostel The tution fees I am paying one lakh per year Within this for lab and all other things fees is involved My batchmates are paying like 75000 like coming for counseling like that There are many scholarship that can students avail here like naan mudhalvan , minority scholarship etc .
Campus Life
Till now I didn't feel bad for choosing this college There are many festivals are happening like D-glits , symposium on defferent department , hackathon etc... There is enough of range to access the book for the respective course in library The classroom is provided with smart board and respective labs for practicals and projects In my point of view the activities for sports is not bad just ok but you have permission to participate in other colleges events There are many groups and clubs for students like NSS, Anti-ragging , English club,Eco club etc...
Hostel Facilities
We have been provided with the facilities of bed and cot with attached bathroom The housekeeper clean our rooms everyday except Sunday My review for the food in hostel is 3 I wish they should improve their menu
Admission
I directly choosed this college over other colleges because for my course this college is very good . I choosed this college over other because in abroad there are many peoples in higher position are malayali as this college is located border to the kerala through this I can learn malayalam The process for getting addmission is two way One is through counseling and another one is management For this two ways the students should get passed in class 12 By final exam cut off mark they can join in this college
Faculty
According to anna university noms the faculty to students ratios are following the relationship between students and faculties are very good For me I like Dr.srija she is taking maths she is very kind to students ,very helpful There is no faculty like that for hating For one semester there are 3 to 4 exams like internal assessment test 1,2 then university model exam etc... Below 5 percentage only students get fail
Night Life
We have gym with short facilities ,we have canteen with good foods and soft drinks with good quality and cost-friendly . We have one library for all departments with all books There is a public area like for relaxing The campus timing is from morning 8.30 to evening 6.00 The places inside the college is very safe to roam over the nights
