Remarks

The college has started before 75 years .very positive comments among the people in chennai.one of the top 10 colleges in India.Very good college.And has very name among the public.8000 students are studing.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com(general) is a three years course and the base is Accounts ,commerce and Maths.semester exams are held in twice in a year November and April.And each semester has five major subjects.40 marks for internal and 60 marks for external.

Placement Experience

There is a placements around 10 to 15 companies.Yes my college provides internships .And they take it as a project mark.And experience teaches very well.Some company may provide stipend.And then some working for charity.so some may not have stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ethiraj college for women consist of two shifts in our college.First shift fee structure is feasible. And it less than 5k.And second shift is very expensive.And it exceeds 40 k.First shift is Allied and second shift is self supporting.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is a scholarship facility for the students who are from backwards community people.At the end of the graduation Scholarship will be issued the the respective students.And having a separate bank account in college branch for each every students.

Campus Life

There are many more Activities,sports,labs are. Ncc Nss silambam Aerobics Basket ball volley ball cricket kabadi computer lab physics lab chemistry lab tennis batmiton indoor games photo lab etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Each and every year ethiraj college for women conducts the alumni meet and conducts program for them.All alumini will be happy when they meet their friends in thier college.And college makes them to feel very comfort and gives prizes for alumni.

Admission

I secured 96% in higher secondary school and I applied in Ethiraj College for women and got seat in selection list.And I went to college got signature from principle and gave all my certificates and joined in college.

All the faculty of my college are really well educated and well trained staff with better experiences.The teaching skill of my faculties are simply awesome.And teaching will be always very professional.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

As I already mentioned this curriculum is very worst they are having very old syllabus, which needs to be changed.. but staffs are very friendly to the students you can ask any doubt to them. They will definitely help you..

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

From the 5th semester onwards the management made various efforts to conduct oncampus And they made it. Some companies which visited our campus is tata groups , vindhya e infomedia, wipro etc. Highest package offered is 3,00,000 per annum most probably 80 % of students placed. My plan after degree is to place in good reputed company.

From the 4th semester exam, the student is eligible for a placement campus interview. In our college, mega campus interview happen and all south college students participated in our college campus interview Some campus interview companies are LIC, Muthoid finance, and HDFC. 20% of people were selected in campus interviews. After my degree, I going to do CA intermediate exam and attend some government exams.
