Remarks
There are some positive as well as negative remarks about Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyala. Positive remarks are they provide educational environment to get the knowledge. But as the first college of engineering in Gujarat. Its infrastructure is good but not that all.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are totally covered by faculties and teachers. So, no tension about it. Facilities and teachers are very familiar. There are 2 mid sem in 1 sem and then the External Examination and Viva. The structure is 70/30.
Placement Experience
There are many job opportunities provided by this college. Placements are also in huge amounts. If we wanted to seat in placement then we must have to fulfill some criteria like 6.5 up CPI and Two or three Nptel courses required.
College Events
Many events and festivals are celebrated during the whole academic year. There is one main event named as "Udaan". This is the main festival of Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya. All students can participate in this festival.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are mainly two parts. That is Government quota and Self finance quota. It also depends on our category. Like SC/ST students get free ship card from Gujarat government. This card means yhey do not have to pay of SFI.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarships are provided by Birla vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya. The best scholarship is MYSY. That is Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. 50% of fees of both self finance and Government are paid by Government as part of this Scholarship.
Campus Life
Lab facilities are very much good. Many instruments related to many branches are available at the college campus. No issues of using them. But if we want to use them then we have to have permission. This permission is given by corresponding faculty teacher.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, Seniors are very helpful. No issue of raging, and etc. They help us in all our problems. During the event time they guide us how to perform well in events and also how to perform well in examination.
Admission
I got admission through ACPC. First, I got admission in VGEC,Chandkheda, Gandhinagar, Gujarat in First round. But it was too far from my village. So, I went for the second round. In which I have got Electrical in MSU. But I was not interested in that field. So, I went for the Offline round at L.D.College, Ahemdabad. There I got admission in BVM.
Faculty
They teaches subjects very familiar and friendly. Not a sigle doubt remains in student mind after their teaching. Even a small doubt can be discussed many times if some one is not able to understand in one time.
