Remarks
The campus size was cut down because of the site being in litigation. But the campus is still big and full of greenery. One can find different blocks in the college. We have an amphi theatre. Each block is filled with seminar halls.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's fine. But vtu gives too much strain. Students have no time to breathe. When I compare my studies with my friends who study in autonomous colleges,they are far more relaxed.The syllabus is huge for one sem lasting just six months. Teachers weren't able to complete portions. Evaluation is very strict.
Placement Experience
My college provides open courses. The placement has dropped from 90 percent to 60 over the last few years. But still the placements are quite decent in number. There is placement training in our college from moocs and 10 seconds institutes
College Events
Departmental fests, college fests ,scintilla, college sports competition. Scintilla and amplified were the departmental fests I've attended. They provided us shirts. Utsaha was the college fest which was much more fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible when you compare it with manipal University and vitee. Every year we need to pay 75k including all the stuffs.And we need not pay for anything. I guess there is seperated fee structure for caste reservation students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm not available of any loan policies but there's allahabad bank inside our college. Students can create their own bank account and redeem the atm card. All challan payments and other small fee payments, college fees are paid here
Campus Life
Vtu tournaments are conducted. Colleges affliated to the vtu can participate. The inter college cricket, football and table tennis mainly take place. We have more than 40 labs in the college. We have a gym room and can be used anytime for free
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are helpful. They teach us how to market. How to advertise things. And also, they stand as an inspiration to juniors like us. How to deal with subjects is well shared by them. In sports, they lead us and encourage us well.
Admission
I got in through kcet as I scored 3k rank. From the state board of Karnataka after the counseling process,I joined the college. In the college I had to verify my documents such as birth certificate, 10th and 2nd puc marks card,aadhar card ,study certificate and caste certificate
Faculty
They are wonderful. I have no complaints at all. They are dedicated. But as I said earlier,the system is so hectic and rigid that teachers have not enough time to complete their portions. Lot of assignments, labs will be there making it even more tough.
