If you are a student who likes to study all the time without extracurricular activities, then this college is not for you. If you interested more in extracurricular activities, then you may choose this college. This is a student-friendly college.

Before the end semester, we have two internal exams named assessment from which 50 percentage taken for end semester exam. Marks taken in end semester examination is converted into 50. Finally, we get a total of 100 marks on adding internals and end semester marks. Since Anna university is an autonomous university, the syllabus is made by our own faculties which is very useful.

Everyone has the opportunity to get placed through campus interview if they work hard and the minimum they do not put any arrear which is a black mark for your placement. Since Anna university is one of the top universities in India. Every graduate student has more job opportunities even though if you are not placed through campus interview.

There are so many events celebrated in our college .culturals named SAMPRADHA is a very good and entertaining function in our college. CEG has Agni on every year which is also very good function. Techofus is the event celebrated in the month of January in which every college students can participate. A symposium is an event held by each department.

Fees structure is very low when compared to private engineering colleges .if you are a general category u have to pay 20,000 rupees per semester. If you are a first graduate student or from SC / St category, you have to pay 10,000 rupees per semester. For the first semester, everyone must pay extra fees of about 15,000 rupees.

Since you are studying in Anna University, banks may give you education loans easily and you may also have other scholarship schemes.

Campus life at Anna university is a very good life. You have a lot of places in colleges to spent your time and talk to your friends both girls and boys are studying in our college. Both can talk to each other. Our college is not strict. It is very liberal. There are four organizations in our college namely NSS, NCC, YRC and NSO. You can join any of these organizations to do extracurricular activities.

The induction program is conducted for the first 10 days of college in which we all interact with each other. Some of our alumni come and tell about their experience and college. Seniors also come to tell about the department.

I got admission in this college by taking good marks in my HSC board exam and a good cut off marks. The admission process is made through the TNEA online councilling. My TNEA general rank is about 10,000 .if you take a rank between 1-15,000, you will have chance to get admission in this college.

Faculties finished PhD are very knowledgeable persons and their classes are interesting to listen or easy to learn and those who do not do PhD may not know all to clear our doubts unlike schools, no one can tell you to study. You have to study on your own.
