- An IPS officer is the incharge of ojr college and now think the kind of mentorship that we are getting here.
- Practical exposure which is very crucial is something that we get in abundance here.
- Since a fitness test just like we have in the army is conducted and hende one will find very fit students here.
Dislikes
- University rules are very strict as we are not allowed to stay off campus past 8 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
First ans foremost reason is that i dont want to do a regular 9 to 5 job. I need a job that doesnt just pay me but gives me power and position. Our course teaches us that with great power comes great responsibilities. I don't think theres any course that teaches us this value as this to me has been the biggest learning so far.
Placement Experience
Placements figures cant be mentioned as we will.be serving the notable Indian Police Force. Indian police also has an intelligence wing, forensic wing and likewise many others. So, our training and studies will be such that we will serve them in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
84000 is the yearly fees as RRU is a centrally governed university. So, i feel the fees is very much in control because otherwise a university of such stature would have charged no less than 2-3 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
Ours is a huge campus with hostels inside the campus. Our campus looks like a sports academy as we have variousn distinctive sports facilities at our campus. Fests are like every festival and religion is not seen as the fun with which we celebrate a Diwali, Eid and Christmas are also celebrated the same way. Since there are so many departments there are that many blocks too at the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are death beds as not that comfortable beds and rooms are shared by 3 student's. Washrooms are common and hostels are in place to make us tough. Our campus is a residential campus for a reason as only the tough can survive.
Admission
RRU are only two in India and the one in which i am studying is better in both. Also, admissions here are on factors such as score and then a fitness entrance test. This is new as before this university only army was the one where physical test was gauged as a medium of admission. So, i feel, this tests our physical and mental strength as well.
Faculty
We have faculties which have served the country in special departments of Police. Now what helps us is that, they share the toughest cases they have solved and the theory of how they were able to solve it. So, the factors that needs to be taken in account and where to control the emotions. Also, how to keep emotions in check as our jobs will always want us to keep our emotions in check.
Night Life
The Meshwo River is at the south boundary of our college and an entire belt of more than a kilometre is slated for the river bed. Besides that our unwind zone is Sarita Udhyan. Our campus itself has so many gardens but when we go out Sarita Udhyan is the one we look forward for.
