Internships Opportunities
Both core and software companies visit for campus placements. Core Companies: Caterpillar, Tata Motors, L&T, Ashok Leyland, Siemens, Hyundai Software/IT Companies: Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Zoho, Cognizant Roles Offered: Production Engineer Quality Analyst Data Analyst / ERP Support Average Package 3.5 – 5.5 LPA, with some roles going higher depending on skills and internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
24000 is the tuition fees per year including admission fees development fees lab fees etc and additional of 3500 per semester for my government aided course For self finance the tuition fees is approximately 84000 per year
Campus Life
We have intrams a yearly cultural fest by our team dramatix and then nationwide technical event - Kriya Other than these we have events and workshops organised by each department and associations. We also have so many fun events and cultural fests to maintain a balance between academics and extracurriculars Our production department conducts prodothon Then we have sports day and hostel day
Admission
The first choice I made was PSG tech and the course was also Production Engineering because I was interested in production Engineering rather than cse or ece And being one of the top institutions in tamilnadu and in a city like coimbatore I was so sure about entering psg.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:50, which allows for decent individual attention. We have a groups of five with an assigned faculty as a mentor to help us progress. Most faculty members are approachable We usually have 2 main types of exams: internal assessments (2 per semester) and the end-semester university exams. The difficulty level depends on the subject, but with proper preparation, it’s manageable.
Night Life
We have gym in our hostel and a badminton court and a place to sit and relax after our college We have a library with numerous books computers and tables to help us complete engineering graphics drawing The intime for girls is 6:30 during weekdays and for boys it is 9:30 We can have outing of 5 hours during weekends There are so many places to visit with your friends many cafes and funmall in walkable distance We have nice chill spots near our college and the theatre in funmall is an excellent add on. So not only academics but we can also enjoy our social life here in coimbatore especially in PSG tech
