Sona college is a good College to join.especially the people around salem will prefer this college. Infrastructure is good. Positive environment. Knowledged staffs.placements are also quite good.giving importance for studies as well as extra curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum will be changed if required.whem i was studied it will be changed every year.Exam structure will be semester exam. There are 8 semesters.and they will conduct internal exams as well.It is an autonomas college so they will conduct semester exams separately and results also declared separately.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good.there will be a place a placement cell in sona college.they will give full effort for students to placed.placement percentage in 2018 batch is about 90 percent who have given willing for placement.
College Events
There are so many events celebrated in sona college.every department will conduct symposium every year.and there is a annual event called sonatsaw and sonata. They will conduct so many events every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for merit students will be 1 lakh per year.and 1.2 lakhs for management students.when i was studied the fee structure is 70000 per year. It will be changed every year.the fees is feasible comparing the facilities in College
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many Scholarships schemes are provided.the highest gpa students will get scholarships every year. And they will arrange government scholarship for merit students.loan facilities are not available.only we have to arrange loan if we needed
Campus Life
They will give more importance for extra curricular activities.there are NSS, NCC, YRC, RRC clubs.and there is English club, tamil mandram are also available.lab facilities are very good.they have got NBA Acrediation for eee and some other courses.they will give more important to sports also. There is a swimming pool in sona college
Hostel Facilities
I have not opted for hostel. I am a day scholar.but my friend is a hostel student.ones i have gone for hostel The facilities are good there is a common tv. Hostel infrastructure is good and there is a RO water facilities are available.hostel fees when i was studied is 72000 per year.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very good.there is no ragging in sona college.seniors will give advise if we needed.and college will conduct alumni meet every year. And that day alumni will share their experiences.they are helpful
Admission
I have got admission from merit.Single window system conducted by anna university.the process is first to apply for counseling then as per the cut-off mark i selected the sona college of technology.the procedure is simple
Faculty
Facilities are good and knowledged. They will clarify the doubts if we needed.they will also friendly in nature.there are around 500+ faculties are there in sona college.All the faculties are knowledged.
