This college is good for the people who want to keep to themselves and build their career and also bring prosperity to their and their parents name. There is a slight hint of Politics in this college but that's something we all have to deal with someday in life.

The course curriculum is with respect to the standard bachelor's course. Being a deemed University, NIT Jamshedpur takes all exams internally and has internal marking scheme. The Copies are checked inside the College only and there is a strict marking scheme. Internals are done based on attendance as well as the Assignments, Presentations and the Quizzes.

This is one of the few colleges in the country where the placement scene for both core and non core branches are apt. Internships and Pre Placement offers are also provided to the deserving and the Training and Placement cells have overall a very good record. The Placement is greater than 95%>.

2.30 Lakhs annually for guardians having annual income less than 5 lakhs, and for more than that there is a creteria of fee-reimbursement. Which includes return of the tuition fee for the students with less well off economic backgrounds.

Scholarship facilities are provided to SC/ST students as well as fee re-imbursement is done which includes return of the tuition fee for the students with less well off economic backgrounds and the fee is returned to their bank accounts.

Best hostel facilities are provided with Single Rooms provided to students right from the first year. A seperate room with balcony, table, chair, wardrobe, fan as well as mess facilities to the students.

The alumni Network is very strong with a seperate Team called the Industry and Alumni relations devoted to this. Seniors are good, there is a very strict discipline during the starting days of college but slowly they become friendly with some students.

Through the Online Seat Allotment Process JOSAA, the student has to make an account using his JEE Mains or Advance roll number and has to do the online counselling and has to choose the particular degree in preferences order. The most preferred branch at the top and the least preferred in the bottom. And the seats are alloted to you on the basis of cutoffs, number of seats vacant, marks, category and state of Eligibility. Once alloted seat you can either freeze your choice and pay the seat acceptance fee and wait for the physical counselling and the nearest possible centre or you can float for another college, or else slide for another higher preferable branch in the same college.

The faculty is good overall. Some Proffesors are strict over the attendance and timing to enter the class but most of them are of helping nature and are ready to assist you in any problem faced in college being it academic or social.
