Course Curriculum Overview

4

In the quarantine time period there was a rise in potential in the pharmaceutical industries which hasn't lowered down since then. That's how a saw a potential in this field and opted this course. The curriculum includes 2 sessionals, one improvement sessional, pre university exams and the external exams in a semester. The frequency of exams seems to be frequent considering the time period, though it provides an windkw for the preparation. It would have been appreciated if more time for our self study part could have been provided before the external exams

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like mankind, dr. Reddy's, gracure, aristo, kenko, path kind, VXL, artech, genus etc come here to recruit the graduates. The courses such as ai skill based course, drug regulatory affairs course, and the other courses are provided here to gain further skills along with curriculum.

Placement Experience

4

Over over 92% of the graduated body was provided with placements. 4, lakh per annuam Was is the average package provided and it reached upto 6 lakhs. Companies like mandkind, dr. Reddy's and bharat biotech provides visits and make offers

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees we pay here is 1 lakh 35 thousand for everything provided here i.e., including tuition fees, caution fees, lab fees and compulsory charges for b.pharm. Scholarship is provided to those who manage to score above 85 percent in the semester exams. Further the AKTU charges ruppees 7,500 yearly for the registration puposes and it varies for different category that is for st, sc, and obc categories.

Campus Life

4

In campus, fests take place as singers and actors are invited for the promotional purposes and the celebrations generally take place as for dandiya night, diwali and holi like festivals. The library provides with the necessary books over a limited period of time. Smart boards and projectors are provided for interactive approach towards a topic or subject. Sport events like basketball, fooballs and other sports like tug of war and chess occur in campus. Different clubs like cultural club and innovative clubs are available

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel provides with the restrictions but not the resources. The meal here is sustainable for most of the people but frequent cases of illness were witnessed due to the food provided here. The electricity facilities worked just time but the washrooms were the worst for the c block. They didn't agree to change the agreement in hostel in the time period i stayed here.

Admission

I did apply to GLA university, Shardha university, and amity university. I didn't choose GLA due to its isolated location, and i disliked amity due to the mindset of the whole campus about the social status. I chose this college over the others due to its simplicity in things like the status and the focus over the academics. People who scored over 60 percent in their 10th and 12th grade are eligible to apply in this college and the personal interview is taken below admission

Faculty

5

Here in second year, we are greeted with the interactive staff that may provide us with the insights and opportunities. I would like to share the example of some. Our HOD Shri Sudhir Arora has always helped me out since the first semester in finding my potential by adding me in his work of review articles, and appointing me in quizzes. My mentor pushkar sir always shares a belief about the studies in the manner i indulge in and our advisor Mrs. Bhakti Sudha Pandey provides us a channel to raise the quaries and questions about the ongoing matters and difficulties.

Interview Experience

4

Personal interview was taken at the time of admission and the overlook of the campus was provided before the admission. The HOD sir itself provided with all the details of college and details were provided by him. The further procedure was simple

Night Life

4

In the night, boys staying in hostel are restricted to enter in campus till 8:30 pm, and girls are restricted to be present in canpus before 6:30 pm. Gym is available here. Library entry is restricted to 5 PM as it is in the pharmacy building and the entry closes after 5 pm. Outside campus jagat farm here is the main market which provides with most of the requirements. I do not carry the knowledge about cafeterias around the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
