More positive remarks than negative remarks. If a student is an average student, then the college is the exact place to join. The college is actually a nice one giving good memories for a lifetime. Also, the college provides nice placement assistance making it a satisfactory place to study in.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum depends on which stream of engineering one wants to pursue. So it can be Computer science, information science, mechanical, civil, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics and so on. Exams happen once per semester
Placement Experience
The placements are nice in the college. They provide with quite a few companies for interviews. Many companies like TATA consultancy services, Mindtree, Infosys, Wipro, Terralogic, RX Logic visit the college giving placement opportunities
College Events
Maitree and Sanskruti are two main fests which happen in the college. Maitree is the smaller fest and Sanskruti is the bigger fest. Then there is Kalarava a Kannada festival which is a celebration of the Kannada language
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on which is the way through which a student has got admission into the college. If the student gets through CET, the fee is the least. If anything other than CET, the fee tends to get costly
Fees and Financial Aid
I actually do not have proper idea as I could not avail any scholarship from the college. I know some of my friends who had taken scholarship which depends on the students' caste or religion. SC/ST students can avail maximum scholarship
Campus Life
The college provides facilities for extracurricular activities. The students can join the college's volleyball, football, cricket teams. There are tournaments held too for the sports. There are labs too in all the departments and they are specific to the department
Alumni/Alumna
I have just passed out of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology. So I do not know exactly as to how the alumni network works. If a student passes out of the college then he/she has to surely join the alumni network.
Admission
Took CET exam in Karnataka. According to the rank I had got I got admission into the college. So getting admission in the college is subject to rankings. There are other ways for admission also like ComedK and management
Faculty
The faculty are good. There is a large proportion of faculty who have done PHD. The faculty members are friendly and use various tools to teach the students. Some of them use boards and markers as a medium to teach and others use powerpoint presentation.
