FIEM review

FIEM is a good choice for technology lover. It is a top ranked engineering college and very reputed also. Teachers are friendly and very graceful. Rules by the management are very systematic. Labs are also good but there is lacks of instruments.

The courses like, Btech,BBA, BCA, MCA , hospital management are there in FIEM. Exam structure is also quite good. It was devided by 2 parts, (70+30). In every sem there is 2 internal examinations. These marks will be carried forward to the semester result. There will be practical exams as well as theory exams.

Placement and Job opportunity is quite good in this year. In 2019 batch 98% students got placed in reputed MNC. But it has up and down. Like, in our time, 2018, there was poor placement records. And FIEM does not provide any internship. So I don't have any experience in Internship in our college.

There are so many events are celebrated in FIEM, like technical festival named "Phoenix" , cultural festival named "Flamz" and also technical project making competition named "Inception", "Projection" etc. Among these , "Phoenix" is the most interesting festival held in our college. Many types of games, prizes and lots of excitement are there in that fest.

Compared to other technical engineering colleges, fee structure of FIEM is not very expensive. It is quite affordable. Every semester fees was around 40000 for general admission taker with rank. And if you want to get admitted in management quota, then there is extra 2-3 lakhs you have to pay to FIEM.

FIEM is very good choice when we come to a loan facility discussion. Bank loan facilities for the fees in every semester is always offered by the college. There is no scholarship facility in FIEM. Loan should be returned to the bank after student pass out.

In 1st year we did many extracarricular activitis. Like, orphanage visiting and help those children, oldage home visiting and help them, charate lesson in woman's right etc. Labs are quite clean and pleasant. But there is lacks of instruments.

No I did not opt for hostel. I travelled by bus and auto to my college from home only. And FIEM does not own any hostel yet. There is so many paying guest room nearby the college. The rooms are quite good, suitable for anyone.

Seniors are always connected to juniors. They are very helpful to their juniors. They are very motivating. From this year , FIEM organised an alumni network in march. This was the 1st alumni meeting of pass out seniors.

Admission process was quite lengthy, like 6-7 hours.After getting FIEM in councilling, I went there to get admitted. In ECE department I got admitted there in 2014. 1st sem fees was taken by the college and after many official documents verification, I admitted there in ECE dept finally. Rank card and ID proof is mandatory documents.

FIEM faculties are very responsible and quite friendly. Though a few teachers are strict, but they all love their students. If anyone has doubt in any subject, they just want to clear it. That's why teach everyone again and again.
