Overall the college is famed for its Diploma program. The degree section is still new. You will not get any technical expertise here. Only the lectures. Just the theory. But there is no limit to what you can do while here. The college grants the freedom of attendance. I have had many class mates who just came 2-3 days and passed the semester. So You can easily prepare for GATE or any exams. Be ready to struggle outside the campus for knowledge and expertise

Frankly I believe the curriculum is focused mainly on the theory part. The practical knowledge you will get is close to zero , unless you are a proactive student and really crave for that knowledge. You will get ample time here to prepare for GATE, CAT and other government examination. There are two semesters each year. In each semester there are two internal examination and one external examination at other college centre. You'll get UCER in Karchhana to give your end semester paper. Scoring here is very easy . Practical marks internal and external you'll get 90 % , and if you are active in class if you attend you can easily cross 85 -90 % in end semester with 2-3 days preparation.

As far as I was told there is no placements cell . All the placement happens off-campus . It's because the students are very hardworking. As told you'll get ample amount of time to prepare for other exams so if you want just the degree with least effort . The college can offer this . Don't expect placements

There are two main events that happens every year for B.tech section . Diploma have their own fests 1. UDBHAV - The cultural fest which happens late September . It's very fun and the auditorium is very large. You'll enjoy for sure. It's a three day Function.Freshers is combined into it. Lots of events like singing to dancing to fashion show happens. 2. TECHNOVATION- Happens mid April . It's very competitive and fun and engaging three day function with a surprise at the end . Lots of hub hub in the college . Robo war , coding competitions, quizzes and student of the year. Beside these many sports event happens from time time . But you need to be active otherwise you'll miss them.

That is the plus point . The college is very cheap and affordable. You'll only have to give some 70,000 for a year . And you'll get to fill fees reimbursement application which will send you your tuition fees if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. And if you're on a fee waiver seat Just 20000 a year.

It's better to fill your seat under FW fee waiver during choice filling. The UP government grant tution fees back to student under there fees reimbursement program for economically weaker studentd .Dont stress once you'll get the college you'll know the procedure to apply.

Keep the fests aside there is no extracurricular activities. Teachers will show no enthusiasm to arrange one too. The labs in the curriculum won't held leave extras. One of the horrific fact is that the college resist anyone or anything innovative and out of the box. Lots of rules and discipline will be imposed on you.

I haven't opted for a hostel. But the hostel fees is less too. Some 60,000 for residence and mess. The infrastructure is not so great but it's manageable . Moreover the hostels are allocated according to distance from college so make sure you are from far city to get a hostel.

The alumni network is bad too. It's because the college management has taken no pain to contact and connect to their ex student who got good position. Moreover most of the students who graduated don't want to keep relations to the college.

I gave the UPSEE-2018 entrance examination on 30th April .It is a exam for entrance in UP state colleges affiliated with AKTU. I got the rank 4515. I filled the application form for councelling in UPSEE-2018,and marked this college in my choice filling. After a week I got a seat allocated to CSE branch fee waiver seat. I collected all documents to be taken as given in their official site www.iert.ac.in. I got all my certificates checked and paid my fees for a year. I started attending classes.

The senior faculty are PhD . And the guests facilities are either pursuing doctorate or M.tech. only talking about the Degree section. The teacher's are good and experienced you'll get to know many things besides subject matter. The teacher to student ratio is less but our director has promised to increase it.
