Likes
- In our campus, we can roam till 10 pm and there is no restriction on wearing what we want to.
- Unlike other girls hostels, we have washrooms inside our rooms and that makes things easier for us.
- Our course is tough and each department has their special classes and fests.
Dislikes
- Girls hostel rooms are very small and also mess food isn't that good.
Course Curriculum Overview
For Humanities it's compassion and because that has been my core, I chose this subject. There are various other specialization but I chose this and now since I have finished my course, I feel I did the best. One improvement I want is to get some assistance in finding jobs as that is one grey point or weak area about our college.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly it's the NGOs that offered us internships and we got to learn so much. The affection and putting our studies to test is what we learned at those internships. I am so happy that I could pursue all those as our college made those internships possible for us.
Fees and Financial Aid
Banasthali Vidyapeeth Jaipur is like Girls largest university in India as it offers atleast 10 specialization in BA itself. So the yearly fees is 1.1 lakhs a year and hostels are quite cheap here. For BA though fees is this if you are from genera category but if you are a SC/ST student, fees is definitely much lesser.
Campus Life
Every department here as their own fest so for BA in Humanities it's Adhyay. For English Hons it is Spandan and likewise each subject has their own fests and collectively there are some 50+ fests in our college. Our college is huge and there are some 20 odd buildings which include 6 hostels too. We also have a flying club and horse riding as sports facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Shri Ganga Rani Hostel was the one where I stayed in my final year and every year hostels kept changing. Just the number of rooms in each hostel was a difference as otherwise the hostels rooms and all were similar to one another.
Admission
I applied at DU and particularly LSR college but because I couldn't make the cut-off, i cake here as with 80 odd percentage, Banasthali Vidyapeeth gave admissions but for LSR it was 90+ and also CUET score too.
Faculty
At Banasthali Vidyapeeth all the females staff is there and learning or rather humanities which was my subject is so sensitive that learning it from a female professor made it very easy for me. Vidhya Jha a professor from my state was our main professor and was also my favourite purely because she took extra care of me.
Night Life
Our college has a coffee shop and 3 cafes along with gym and innumerable sports facilities. Due to circumstances we are not allowed to step out of the university as college itself takes us for outing and that is how we go out of the campus.
