What Students Say
Likes
- Mostly i like labs ,they are peaceful for me , classes are just Chaos
- And the other thing I like is the tamarind tree
- And the canteen and library and few spots in the campus
Dislikes
- I dislike security in our college, we should need permission for everything
- We should take a slip to go out in the middle of the college hours
- I don't think that should be necessary, we know that we should maintain attendance,if not there are consequences,we know that we won't risk it, like bro let us have our days
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are conducted regularly and are manageable in terms of difficulty, but sometimes the schedule is tight, and we don’t get enough time to prepare between internals and externals. More focus on project-based learning and industry exposure would make the curriculum stronger.
Placement Experience
The placement process at CMR Technical Campus begins in the 7th semester. The college has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that starts preparing students early through aptitude training, mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and technical workshops.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fee structure is 105000 academically Jntu fee 10000 Exam fee 2200 Scholarship from epass is 35000 Without scholarship we have to pay 105000 For sc st they'll only pay jntu fee i.e. 10000 Scholarship is for everyone who has ews certificate
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life at CMR Technical Campus has been quite fulfilling. The college hosts several annual and technical festivals that enhance social interaction and student involvement. "Shruthi" is the cultural fest held in February or March, while "Tech Fest" is organized by various departments around October, showcasing technical projects, workshops, and competitions.
Hostel Facilities
I am staying in a private hostel located near the college campus. The rooms are decent and come with basic amenities such as a bed, table, chair, cupboard, and fan. Some rooms also have attached bathrooms. The cleanliness is maintained regularly, and there is access to filtered drinking water on each floor. Wi-Fi is provided, though the speed varies during peak hours.
Admission
I chose CMR Technical Campus over other colleges mainly because of its reputation for providing quality education, good placement opportunities, and a student-friendly environment. I had applied to a few other colleges like VNR VJIET, Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute, and Malla Reddy Engineering College. While I got shortlisted in some of them, I decided to go with CMR as it had a better balance of academics, infrastructure, and extracurricular activities
Faculty
I do like our faculty, they teach nicely , we have like 6 to 7 faculty for 69 people in this semester If we have doubts they'll clear them on the spot Not a single name I want to mention but every faculty are equal They are few faculty I don't like personally because they keep grudges when we give brutal feedback
Night Life
There isn't much of a nightlife in or around the campus as it is located in a relatively quiet area. The campus gates close by 7:30 PM, and hostel in-time is strictly monitored, usually around 8:00 PM for girls and 9:00 PM for boys. The library and gym close by evening, and cafeterias usually shut down by 6:00 PM. Most students unwind during the day itself, either by hanging out in the canteen, playing sports, or spending time with friends in the common areas.
