Remarks
I have both positive and negative remarks with my college. Positive remarks: the college faculty does not allow or botherd any kind of ragging activity in college ground. The study environment is really good. Negative remarks: for new students the fees structure and exam structure is quite confusing our college should have posted a detailed information for both in college website
Course Curriculum Overview
At our college there are variety of course for studying. The exam structure is based on choice base credit system. There are 2 semester in one year and 1 semester contained with 2 internal exam and 1 external exam.
Placement Experience
Because of it's a degree course college our college doesn't give direct job placement but we can approach in many exam with the graduation certificate. Our college doesn't provide any kind of internship.
College Events
AIDS awareness day World environment day Save water campaign Birthday memorial of various renowned person And there are college social, college fresher's welcome etc. All these type of events are organized by student Union and college faculty.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Because our college is a west Bengal government college so the fees are very low comparing to other colleges in locality. We have a 6 months fees system. The fees are taken by college staff before the semester exam. There are perticular amount of fees for each stream and each course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is a chance for getting a scholarship for students who comes from financially backwards family. They must have a certain percentage of number and in some cases they may needed a caste certificate to full fill the criteria.
Campus Life
Our college offered various type of extracurricular activities. Like NCC course. Labs have really very good quality equipment and very good ambiance. Lab assistant and faculty are helpful with students in conducting the experiment. There is a annual sports program organized by college board in every year.
Alumni/Alumna
We can reach out to the alumni association through the college website they are very good in advising current students. Senior students help out junior students in their studies with various ways. They help us by giving study material and notes. They also enrich us with their valuable experiences.
Admission
After the results of West Bengal higher secondary board exam. We have fill up a form for admission. Then at a certain date we have to go to college with all our documents and we can get admission at the same regarding to our marks
Faculty
Faculty is very good and helpful. They help students in their studies as much as possible. They are very student friendly. And they are very helpful to students with extra curricular activities in college like a social awareness campaign or etc.
