Ipshita's Review On Maharaja Sayajirao University Of Baroda - [MSU], Vadodara

In my experience this university ( in particular my college) is one of the bestest college throughout the state for every courses . University provide education in all fields it does have every department to study including sociology , psychology , fine arts , medical and etc. I will rate 5/5 for this college.

Course definately consist everything what is need to taught in B.Sc. They have divided curriculum into semester as a 3 year course we have 6 semester of 6 month each. Examinations:- exams are part of curriculum and it is conducted in 2 parts one is mid sem paper which is internal paper consist of 30 MCQ ( as its objective) from our syllabus of 30 marks and towards the end of semester we appear for external which is a subjective paper of 70 marks and by the end of year university conduct exam which is also of 70 marks . Though exam pattern are moderate assesment of paper is really strict.

Placements are too good in my field . Bachelor's in science offers really good placement over different institutions for research intern or junior scientist , one can even apply at college itself for further post graduation , it provides a lot of opportunities . Yes it does provide internship affilated with some companies that provide direct intership with good amount of earning . My overall experience with this college is awesome I can say excellent . As I am still a SY ( second year ) student I havent got any stipend so cant say about that.

College have a lot and lot of events that include annual college fest , actomania , fun fair , traditional day celebrations , freshers , Djs everything a student can enjoy. Apart from that we have Seminars , Student elections , Exhibitions , workshops and etc etc .

It totally depend on your merit if you got good marks , your annual fees can be as low as 7,000 or if you didnt got that much and you are taking a management seat then it could be little high. Well overall 90% of student pay 7000 which is quiet affordable and is total value for money . Even ecocomically weaker section can apply for MYSY scholarship for financial help.

Yes , as per new regulation EWS quota is there. Otherwise once you join college and you are really poor and cant afford fees college itself will tell you to fill mysy scholarship form. MYSY is a Gujarat govt. Programme for weaker sections to provide better education to all. Loan facilities are there , but dont know exactly if college get it availed or not .

There are so much extracurricular activities like sports , dance , and acting drama competiton and many more . Labs facility is provided to us as I am enrolled in BSc . Labs have well trained lab professional and everything you need to perform an experiment.

Hostel accommodation are really nice . Separate hostels are there for boys and girls .You have got a great mess with all amenities . You can have ac/ non ac rooms and depend on your bugdet and shared room or individual room. Overall its good . Hostel location is quite excellents which have good nearby place and transportations.

College has given us many alumnious students who are at top position in their career. Senior students have described the college well and have given many achievements to college . They are definately helpful in guiding about college.

I had to show my 12 th marksheet and they calculated my PCB marks and according to 12 th marksheet either from CBSE GSEB or ICSE they will give you merit according to your marks. Fees is quiet affordable. Admission process is also through online admission , or student can apply through ACPEC.

Faculties are really good and are quiet experienced .Some professors are even a PhD in their subjective. Their teaching methods are quite innovative and analytical , faculties here have good communcation skills which will enable you to learn everything quicker .
