Course Curriculum Overview
My course is Computer Science and Engineering- Cyber Security. This was introduced only to our batch and removed fromthe next batch. We are the only batch of 68 students currently in cyber security but are put under the department of data science. Subjects of cyber security were only introduced in the 5th semester, and the faculty of these subjects do not have complete knowledge on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like amazon, Seimens , PWC, offer internships along with full time job roles. The stipend varies from around 20000 to 100000 per month depending on the companies. The learning opportunity is better during internships.
Placement Experience
The campus placements here are mediocre, looking at the packages that companies offer. Service companies like amazon, capgemini, infosys and a very few product companies come for recruitments. Many students don't get placed so there is no 100% placement guarantee.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is 1,05,000 per annum. This fee is without any scholarship. The library fee was 20,000 which we had to pay in the first year of BTech. Every year, the JNTU fee is 10,000 which is not included in the tuitiom fee. The fee for students with scholarship is 70,000 per annum excluding JNTU fee.
Campus Life
The clubs in the college and extra circular activities are great. I personally think, the students meed more exposure for building network. We have annual day and also technical events happening regularly in the college campus.
Admission
I had written the TS EAMCET entrance exam and gottten into this college. My rank was 9K for which I could have gotten into much better colleges than this. I considered this college as one of my dad's friends recommended that the placements and faculty here are good.
Faculty
We have two categories of exams, one is lab and one is theory. For both of these categories, internal marks is 40 and external marks is 60, which sums upto 100. Most of the faculty staff are knowledgeable and help students in various activities.
Night Life
The college hostel provisions are not great. They are mediocre at best. They do not provide what is promised during the time of admission. But in terms of safety, college hostel is good. The cafeteria food is fine.
