Remarks
On a final note, my college is extraordinary in terms of infrastructure and laboratory. The college is started in 2007 and so the building are soo new and prefect to stay in. The hostels are good and big enough. They are well maintained and even there is an indoor gym for every hostel block which is quite well equipped. Coming to academic, well it completely depends on the branch you choose and the way you prepare. Studing in an University we should not expect the faculty to spoon feed you everything, you are on your own now. So one should make the most of given facilities like library and labs. There are even state level sports and national level technical fests that will be conducted in our college. Overall it's a good choice to make.
Course Curriculum Overview
The entrance exam will consist 3 sections - maths -80, physics - 40 and chemistry -40. Its a total for 160.Coming to the course it will of total 8 semesters, 2 per year making it a 4 year course. Your semester classes will be based on the course you chose during web options phase.
Placement Experience
There is a dedicated placement cell in our college and it functions actively 24/7. It's brings in lot of opportunities throughout your final year. The placement drive usually starts in 4th year BTech. Our college doesn't provide internship.
College Events
There are a lot extra curricular activities that will be going on in our college. There will be technical fests, web seminars and also a lot of sports events throughout the year. We also have NSS so there will even events like plantations and all.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is 10000 per anum which is because it's a government college. Apart from that if you choose hostel it would cost you around 3000 per month. Overall it's the least for any college for such good infrastructure and faculties provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
We get the fee scholarship from state government for eligible candidates. The criteria would be their parents annual income from all sources, apart from that there will be merit scholarship for backward communities. There is no loan facility provided.
Campus Life
Their are a lot of opportunities for people who are into sports and other things because you know college is not just books and studies it's about fine tuning your skills and that's what our college does too. We host some state level sports in the one gigantic play ground for everyone. The labs are big and well equipped.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I did stay in hostel for 4 years and it's so good overall with a huge dinning hall and indoor gym fully equipped. There is 24/7 WiFi provided. The quality and quantity of food is also ok, don't expect it to be too good though not to forget it will only cost you less than 2000 per month for food in there.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni of the college is quite good. We are all connected through the social networks. See now a days it's as simple as that, you wanna meet someone from your college then just go type in their name in some social media platform and rest is cake walk. Apart from this kinda communication we do have a alumni department who conducts reunions for the past students of our college. It quite well active always and is a good way to meet with your buddies.
Admission
We need to take an entrance exam namely EAMCET and then based on your rank you need to choose your colleges in order of priority. In the background they will be allotment of seats for various colleges based upon all the options of every student rank wise. On the results day, you will be informed about the college in which you got admission.
Faculty
Here the faculty are good with both theoretical and practical knowledge. Studying in a government college you should not expect to be spoon fed everything. There are good labs and a well established library. So it's more you are on your own. However the faculty will guide you through the entire academics and the final year project.
