- Faculties here are both and that is friendly and knowledgeable.
- Placements too here are excellent as students of our college have secured good jobs and that too in reputed companies.
- Infrastructure wise we aren't as big as NIT Warangal but our infrastructure is also quite pleasant.
Dislikes
- Definitely i wanted a cosmopolitan crowd but here students are from Andhra or Telangana only.
Course Curriculum Overview
ECE was indeed or rather my second option as Artificial Intelligence was first but for some reasons I couldn't get that and therefore I am pursuing this. However, ECE is also quite good as machine operations and handling the core is what we are taught in our course. So, it is as difficult as other streams and so one has to be right up there.
Placement Experience
Siemes, Ami Organice, and likewise many more NSE listed companies who hold a strong reputation comes to our campus. Our branch average in 2024 placements drive was around 5 lakhs and 104 students out of 125 were placed from Vaagdevi Campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Vaagdevi College of Engineering is not a government college and yet the fees that they command is that of an engineering college. Fees is just 70000 a year and I don't think it can be any less than this as our college is providing us all the facilities that an engineering college should has. So fees is such that a middleclass men too willhave easy on pocket.
Campus Life
We have three fests a year and starting with our technical fest it is called Technocrats. We have a sports fest called Vaag Kreeda and an annual cultural main fest which is called Vaag Tarang. Our campus is big enough to hold all of them at our campus itself. We have a huge lawn and all the major sports facilities which are suitable for Indian body types.
Admission
State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability. As soon i checked that my score and rank was sufficient to get admission here, I filled the form online and in the very first list, I had my name and without wasting any time, I took admissions here.
Faculty
Our ECE department has nearly 40 odd faculties and we have two sections and 130 students in all. Hence 1 faculty member for almost every 3 students. It can't be bigger than this as their knowledge is extraordinary and their friendly nature have won our hearts in the years that I have spent at Vaagdevi College of Engineering.
Night Life
Warangal is not a major town and plus our college is way off the min city. Murthy Cafe and Mohanna Tea stalls are nearest to our campus but because we have a cafeteria in our campus itself, i have always preferred my cup of tea at colleges cafeteria.
