Remarks
College is good at academics but the campus placements are not upto the mark. I want college to bring as maximum companies for students so we can get job. And internship program is not good in this college. So I want them to send us for internships. Teaching staff and students are good. Rest of the college is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am a first year student pursuing b.tech in petroleum engineering. My first year was academically good. The subjects were well taught. Exam structure is like we have 2 semesters a year and in each semester we have two Mid-term examinatios of each subject. Each mid exam comprises of 25 marks and the average of two mid term examinations give the overall mid term marks. And the semester exam is of 75 marks.
Placement Experience
In out college we have very less placements and job opportunities. College doesn't provide any internship and all that. Students can opt for private internship. And now I am going in 2nd year so I want my college to send us for internships.
College Events
I will tell you about what events happened in our Ist year. 1. There was event for Civil engineering department. 2. There was event for Mechanical engineering department. 3. There was event for CSE engineering department. 4. There was event for ECE & EEE Engineering departments. 5. There was a food fest. 6. And at last Annual Day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is affordable. The first year fees is ?56,000 and the university fees is somewhat between ?5,500-?8,500. The transport fees is ?12,000 approx. In terms of fees , the college is OK because it is a minority college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yeah my college provides some scholarship for the meritorious students who has done well in intermediate or EAMCET. I don't know about the loan facilities. So, I can't write about it. Moreover the college fees is affordable.
Campus Life
There is a football ground in our college in which we play football, cricket. There is one more ground in which we play volleyball. There is one basket ball court for students. Then there is indoor complex in which we can play table tennis, carrom ball, ludo, chess. Then talking about labs we have labs of various subjects. Talking about my first year there is english lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, workshop lab.
Alumni/Alumna
This college is in Hyderabad and here the people are nice. My most of the seniors whom I know are from Hyderabad. They all are very friendly and supportive at all stages. They help you in every possible way. They are pretty much helpful at academics also.
Admission
I am student of J&K domicile and i filled the PMSSS form. I found my name in the merit list and they alloted me this college. Then i went to college and submitted all my documents and they gave me joining report which I uploaded on the PMSSS website and thus my admission was approved by PMSSS and the college too.
Faculty
The faculty of my college Lords institute of engineering and technology is very well educated. All the teaching staff is very good and soft spoken. They nurture the students. The faculty of our college is very student friendly
