The biggest positive about the college are the faculties and placements it provide. It also has good academic infrastructure. Tge biggest negative of this college is the cultural events are not promoted in the college. Also the library is not upto the mark.

The subjects which are tought in the college are mostly related to newer technology and since it is a autonomous college it can introduce a new subject on its own and they constantly try to do that to keep up with the latest trend. There are 5 theory subjects in every semester and their exam is of 70 marks out of which 22 are required to be consider passed. Also the subjects have practical exam which includes performing the experiment and then giving viva about it.

Placements in the college are pretty good and if you are having a minimum of 6 CGPA then you will be eligible for almost all the companies(given that your branch is eligible for that company) visiting in the campus. You can get placement of even 22LPA. Companies providing internship are less and only about 50 students out of 500 get internship through college. But for the placement this number goes to as high as 400 students.

College authorities does not promote the events to be organized in college. So the events celebrated in the college are very less. Tgey don't allow any band or singers to be invited in college for the performance. Mostly the events are technical or entrepreneurial. Wall painting was the most fun event organized in the college last year.

As this is a government college so the fees is very low. Per semester fees is around 45000 out of which 30000 is tution fees. If your family income is below 450000 then you can apply for TFW(Tution Fee Waiver) and all you will pay is 15000 per semester. If you opt fir the hostel accommodation inside college then you will have to give 10500 per semester as hostel fees.

Scholarships are provided for the students belonging to sc st and obc caste. Also for the general category students if they have high enough rank they can get admitted in TFW category and their tution fees will be exempted.

Labs in the college are in very good condition and are equipped with latest technology. Sports complex is also very well designed. For badminton and table tennis the flooring is of wooden and for also a basketball court is present.

The hostel fees is 10500rs per semester and also 12000rs will be required to be submitted as mess fees. There are four boys hostels in the campus all for different year students. The hostel that is allotted to first year students is very good as they get study table, almirah, and well funished room. But the hostels for second third and fourth year are not in very good condition, many rooms have leakage problem and study table is not in every room.

Yes seniors and alumnis allare very helpful. All you need is just to approach them and they will readily help you. Many of the companies visiting college for recruitment are sent by alumni. Seniors will also help you by providing books and notes for free.

Admission in this college is given on the basis of JEE Mains marks. You have to first register to mp online portal and then get your documents verified at the nearest ITI or Engineering College. You will also require the income certificate of your family and also state of your domicile. Then you will have to do the choice filling of the colleges of MP which also include SGSITS. After dilling up the branches as per your interest you will get a call from the college for whatever branch you are eligible as per your JEE mains rank.

Permanent faculties of this college are highly knowledgeable and have some experience of the working of industries. But the contract faculties are not that experienced and knowledgeable, but still can teach a lot of new things. They are always ready to help you and you can even go to them to ask help for your competitive exams.
