College Experience

College is good but I find only one problem here and that is the absence of canteen. Canteen is necessary for the campus. Otherwise we are blessed to have such a faculty team which are always eager to help us in our career.

Course curriculum is good but the courses indulged in our Graduation course if outdated. It's not revised. Languages like Python, PHP is not added to our course .We are stuck to the languages like C, C++ and Java . These are also necessary but the courses should be revised according to the time. I am very well satisfied with the exam structure in my college. Exams occur twice in one semester - one is midsem and the other one is endsem. And we have two semesters in one year.

No, there is no internship provided by our college for the BCA and BBA course. Placements do happen in our college campus and various companies like amazon, BSNL, etc do visit in our college campus for both the graduate and postgraduate students. Although we are not provided with more internship programmes but the job opportunities and placements are quite good in the campus.

BITOTSAV, TECHNOTHLON, PANTHEON ,etc are the main events of BIT MESRA which are celebrated every year at the main campus of BIT MESRA , RANCHI. We being the extended students can go there nad participate by registering oursleves to the events organized by BIT MESRA. Though being the BIT students we are not awarded with the facilities provided to the Main Campus students occurring in the event. Besides , our college has various societies which organize many events and games in the campus on the weekends ( not regularly ) and nukkad natak is also organized by our college.

It is expensive. The admission fees was ?70,000 which included the admission fees of 15,000 and the semester fees of 55,000 .Then again in the 2nd semester , we had to pay ? 55,000 which means we had to pay ?1,25,000 in the very first year though being it an undergraduate course. Then , we had to pay ?60,000 in 3rd sem and ?60,500 in the 4th sem which costs us a total of ?1,20,500 in the second year. Now I have paid ?66,500 for the 5th sem and when I will be going to the 6th sem of the course I again had to pay ?66,500 which will cost a total of ?1,33,500 in the 3rd year. So ofcourse it is an expensive course going on.

No, according to my knowledge, there is no scholarship or loan facility offered by my college . The students pay the whole amount of the course opted by them to the college without any loan or scholarship offered. However, a scholarship based on the casteism is offered by the students but the general category students are not helped with any scholarship and they had to pay the whole amount of the course.

No there are nothing such infrastructure in our college like the labs or the sports. But we are blessed with two computer labs which are proper equipped with the desktops and the rooms as well as the desktops are very well maintained and clean.

No, no comments on the alumni network and senior students. But yes, they are very helpful . We got help from them in college , in the studies and in the town also. I can say that they helped us in many ways to settle in the city and make this city to be ours.

College had published a merit list on the basis of our 12th marks and on the basis of that merit list , I along with the other students got admission. For that, we went to the college campus on the given date of admission along with the required certificates which include 12th marks attested by the school's principal, TC, Character Certificate, photocopies of aadhar card, 2-3 pieces of passport size photo and we had submitted our fees of ?70,000 via SBI Online.

Faculty is quite good in our college. They are very supportive in nature and they do clear our doubts when we get a problem while going through the syllabus. Moreover, if we have any problem in the subjects other than our course we can ask them and they willingly solve our problems and hello us in every aspect.
