Remarks
Positive remarks - Very nice campus and green environment separate from the noise and pollution of the city. The library is good. Negative remarks - There are often some political disturbances created by some notorious people in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is mostly research based but a bit outdated and lacks flow or connection. Each topic is covered very briefly. Each subject has a number of credits. The exam structure is semester wise and grade points are awarded.
Placement Experience
There is absolutely zero placements in this faculty. There is a department for these affairs but it doesn't make any effort in placements. Internships are very rare and are not a compulsion. There are few private firms providing internships which may provide stipend of upto 3000-4000/- but it's very rare.
College Events
Many events are held in the college. One is the faculty fest "Abhikalpan" for Social Science faculty. Every faculty has its own fest. Then there is a fest for whole University called "Spandan" where the winners of every faculty fests perform.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is available on college website and is very cheap. It's around 2000-2500 for odd semesters and around 300-400/- for even semesters. It's very much affordable for the kind of University like BHU.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no particular scholarship offered by the college but being a central University students avail the scholarship provided by the central government as well as the state government. Various students who are eligible for the central government scholarship I provided with the scholarship from college. All the process of the scholarship is carried by the college.
Campus Life
There is a lot of scope for extra curricular activities and sports. Being a Central University it has all kinds of sport facilities and various teams. There are many inter faculty matches of different sports held throughout the year. The university provides a wide range of sports for the students to choose.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumina network is not very excellent but it is is just satisfying. Few senior students are helpful who are inclined towards study however there are always some notorious elements in every educational institution it is advised that one should avoid such kind of seniors as well as batch mates.
Admission
Fill the online form. Then appear for the UnderGrad Entrance Test . If you clear the cutoff, you'll be ranked on the basis of your performance and will be called for councilling and document verification. Then your subjects and honors will be decided based on your rank and availability .All the original documents are checked.After that admission is done.
Faculty
Most of the Faculty is good and experienced. But the professor often take very less classes and mostly research scholars take the class who are not always very good at teaching. Also the classes are not held very regularly.
