Experience of college

I think there are more career options through BA as you can give all the competitive exams so I chose BA. Because of B.A. I am well prepared for the upcoming competitive exams. I don't feel any need for improvement in the course curriculum and the teaching methods are also very good, so I don't feel any need for improvement. Exams of first, third or fifth semester are written and time of 2 hours is given and exams of 2nd, 4th and 6th semester are objective for which time of 1 hour 30 minutes is given.I face difficulty while giving written exam because sometimes I miss a question.

There was a company called SSC Adda which offered roles like Social Manager, Employee, Intern and Receptionist and the stipend was Rs 1500 and one day holiday also. The task was given to keep your team united.

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Mahindra and Mahindra, bill and Milinda gates foundation, adda 247, etc.There are a lot of offers coming. Highest and average package is up to 1.5 lakh. Those with percentage above 60 get placement. After degree, I will prepare for competitive exams.

Shri Guru Nanak Girls Degree College is one of the best college for knowledge and learning in Lucknow.The fee for the first year is Rs 4500, the fee for the second year is Rs 5500 and the fee for the third year is Rs 6000.SGNGDC is a well established college with excellent infrastructure, security and facilities. The professors are supportive and have excellent experience.They are giving us full efforts to study us and also they are arranging lots of quiz competition, debates, arts and paints, dance and singing etc. 5

Every year an annual festival is organized named ABHIMUKH. Books and journals are widely available in the library. The classrooms are digital. Many sports and extra-curricular activities are conducted in the campus like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Badminton etc. I know a girl in my college who is associated with an NGO and she works in it and her personality has developed a lot.

I had not applied for any other college before this. I had first gone to this college and after taking the admission form from there, I submitted the form the next day and my admission was done very easily. I chose this college because it was ragging free and my friend had also taken admission there. I did not apply to any other college except this one, so I did not get any rejection from anywhere. Admission in this college is done on the basis of percentage. If your percentage is above 40, you will get admission and there are no specific exams for admission.My admission experience was very good.

Faculty-to-student ratio is 2:1. Faculty to student relationship is very nice.The Faculties are very understanding and supportive and the Faculties are very approachable. I like my history professor a lot because she always treats her students like her own children and shows them the right direction and encourages them to keep moving forward. All the faculties from which I have studied are the best and those faculties are History, Economics and English. There is no such faculty which I don't like because all the faculties are best. There are semester wise exams and the exams are easy to moderate. Approximately one or two students fail in every semester. The course curriculum is very relevant.

I have been to the cafeteria once and I liked it very much. Apart from this, Alambagh seems to be the safest place to hang out at night. I didn't hang out much at night in college, so I don't have much experience of hanging out at night in college.
