Course Curriculum Overview

It was yearly back in my time, now its semester-based. Semester based examination system is good for securing nice grades since the students have specific topics set for a particular semester. Back then the yearly based system wasn't good enough, it gave pressure to average students like me.

College provides half fee or full fee discount on some students based on their economic conditions and other stuffs.

College Events

Collefe fest, college social, department tours once in a year, Independence day, Republic day, Saraswati puja Durga puja , kali puja, Eid, College foundation day, and since its Christian college all the Christian festivals are celebrated too like Christmas, new year, Easter etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hostel are good for getting addicted to smoking and drinking if you are stubborn enough then go there.

Admission

I got my admission from merit list published by the college. Then I got admitted there and started my course. There were many number of merit list published back then, I got admitted in the 7th merit list.

Faculty of Bankura Christian College is no doubtedly good, but like any other departments there are still some ego issues between the faculty of my department. Hope it will be resolved in the near future.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
