Based on the fee structure and ROI, the college is good for Human resource management. Followed by Rural management Marketing AND Finance. But this college also offers PGDM in Information Technology which is not that suited as compared to other courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows the trimester structure, where each trimester lasts for 3 months and covers almost 8 subjects in every trimester. After the completion of 3rd trimester each student has to do an internship for a period of two months.
Placement Experience
Overall placement of college this year was 83%. Where finance and rural management secured 100% placement with an average package of 5.5 lakhs. Marketing secured 91% placement with an average package of 6 lakhs. Human resources management secured 78% placement with an average package of 8.5 lakhs.
College Events
There are number of cultural and sports activities are preformed in xiss. There is also a sperate media club of xiss who covers this events, obscura. Some of the events are:- Panache - annual fest Maxiss
Fee Structure And Facilities
As compared to other B school, the fee structure is feasible. And on the basis of ROI, i.e,return on investment the fee is very feasible. This year the fee was 8,20,000 including examination fee and everything for the span of 2 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is scholarship programme that is runned only for the students of human resource department, apart from this, there are two more scholarship programme that is offered by the state government on the basis of reservation.
Campus Life
Campus is well equipped with library and also has its e-library concept. There is also a huge auditorium with a seating capacity of 180 person. There is a playground in which sports activities are preformed.
Alumni/Alumna
Xavier Institute of Social Service was established in year 1955,since those time it offered two courses PGDM in human resources management and rural management. Hence, it has got a large alumni base, who are working in many MNCs at good designation.
Admission
First you need to clear the cut off mentioned by the college in either of this :- CAT XAT CMAT After clearing the cut off, the candidate will be called for GD/PI. Based on the candidate's performance in this they will be called for admission.
Faculty
College provides the best faculty, they are from renowned colleges and institutes, some of them even has ample amount of work experience in trusted companies. Sometimes college also provides guest faculty.
