Remarks
Altogether,a nice place for students as they can get a good academics along with extracurricular activities under the same roof.The college also has very nice teacher student bonding and junior senior students bonding.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is good but huge.The college is affiliated to CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY. So the syllabus followed is the one prescribed by the university. The college needs to complete the syllabus during the required time and the exams are in semester systems.
Placement Experience
There are placements but not the ones for which the students desire or wait.They do not provide any internships or stipend.My overall experience was more or less okay.Not too good not too bad either.
College Events
The different events that are celebrated in college are Sports day,Foundation day,Freshers welcome,Farewell party,Teachers day,Different competitions,Saraswati puja.They are really very organised and systematic.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible.The fee structure is really very inexpensive as it is a Government aided college.The fees are to be paid at the beginning of the semesters.There are facilities for underprivileged students also.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are good scholarships only for the toppers from all the departments of the college. No loan facilities are available. There are concessions for under privileged students.The scholarships available are very good.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities include sports,dance,etc.There are college teams which represent the college in the dance competitions.The cricket team and the football team is also great.The labs in the college are very nice with proper lab assistants.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network and the senior students are very helpful. There is a very good bonding between the senior and the junior students.The seniors always help and guide the junior students.The alumni network is also great.
Admission
The application form is needed to be filled up first.Then comes the merit list and the councelling dates are given.Then on the particular date the college has to be visited with the required documents for further verification.
Faculty
The faculty is excellent. They are really helpful and friendly .They always listen to the students for clarifying the doubts of the students and they give immense mental strength to the students.
