Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our course is like too good as GLA University's law course is advanced than that of NLUs. We have more subjects and content then them. So course and curriculum wise we are superior than most. Areas of improvement would be break time should be increased as we need to do internships for atleast two month to get practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are not many and to be realistic only 25% students or so get jobs from here. It is quite less indeed but that is how it is and some corporate houses who have branding issues are the ones that hire some students from here. Most students try to find joh outside only.

Fees and Financial Aid

GLA is not among but is indeed the largest university in Mathura. The fees is still less than most Law colleges or private universities in India. 1.4 lakhs for education and 78000 for the hostels is yearly fees that I pay.

Campus Life

5

Our annual fest Spanadan where entire 4000 students or the university are seen singing and dancing was amazing as it happene just a few months back. Our infrastructure is so huge and amazing that the entire campus felt like a different city altogether. From college blocks to amphitheatre and sports facilities all were lit up.

Hostel Facilities

5

Our room has almost every facilities as washrooms even though a small room is inside the room which is shared by two. Two different beds and different tables and Almeras. Mess is good and dinner time is until 10 pm.

Admission

I applied for NLU Delhi and even other NLUs as I gave both the entrances. Couldn't qualify and score was so less that i couldn't even get lower NLUs. So among private universities I am from a small town in UP which is close to Mathura and hence I took admission here which was based on 12th score.

Faculty

5

No permission is required to them for conducting special or extra classes as management has given them a free hand. So they have restricted students on certain parameters and things as they believe attending classes will help students the most. I wish it was true but sadly it isn't. However, nothing wrong with their teaching but in law studies practical knowledge matters more.

Night Life

5

Mathura doesn't have too fancy things and plus our university is little far from main campus. So, it's like Jasbir Halwai, and Madan Sweet Shop where we have samosas and some snackings. For gym and sports our campus is good enough.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

Pre-placement starts from the 4th year, and post-placement also happens as those who remain to get any placements are also assisted. Law jobs are always less so the percentage of students getting jobs is also quite low, as the batch size is 80+

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year
