Insights of my college

I love to make my future in the field of artificial intelligence and technology that's why I choose this course. Curriculum prepare well for real world applications. Few subjects like environment studies and communication skills which students thought they are irrelevant for their academic pursuits but I think these are necessary for building character. Course curriculum may be improved by removing some topics or chapters which are not required for a technical student. Frequency and timings of exam are ok . Student get time to prepare

There are many companies like microsoft, IEEE, google , some clubs , society offer internship opportunities in which students can enroll and get a industrial insight. They offers role like Software Engineer, software developer engineer, UI/UX graphics designer, social media manager, Marketing manager etc on stipend varies on your skills between 8k to 15 k approx based on your dedication and skills and experience and knowledge Many projects students make fir their benefits in future roles in companies. Clubs organise hackathon in collaboration with companies in which you can represent your project and can win prizes.

Student got internship opportunities after 3rd year. Many companies like microsoft, IEEE , Agro Robotics. Average package is about 4-5 lakhs when this college was polytechnic now upgraded to degree college so this year got a idea about highest package. The percentage of placement is I think 80 percent. I am planning after getting degree i want to get placed in a good MNC company and want to serve for the betterment of society in field of technology and Artificial intelligence

The year wise fees is approx 160000. The tution fees is about 64000 and at councelling time we have to pay 96000 to the university. Admission fees is included in 96000 in which 10000 is the security amount which will be refunded by the time when we graduate. This security amount is one time and in 160000, the book bank fee is also included which is 6000 and the 4000 is refundable if we submit the library and semester books in exact condition and on time. The registration fee and all included in this fee amount.There is not any separate lab fees. All charges included in fees.

There is a annual and technical fest organised every year named "Anugoonj" in which many technical activities organised like quizzes, competition etc. there is also a cultural fest named "Rubaru " organised which is Sikh theme based event in which you get insight of sikh culture. Library have many books and journals which you can get issue anytime and can read also in the library based on your convenience. Sports also organised like cricket, volleyball, football and also there is a sports fest organised by university in which every college participate and have a healthy competition among them . Student runs many clubs which are technical, cultural, ethical everything. Clubs organise events in which hackathon, music, dance activity involved. Also some government run program also enrolled in club so that students can volunteer their contribution to country

I applied for good college like MSIT , NSUT,MAIT , BVCOE but don't get at my rank that's why I choose this as it is good after them. In Some college, I got confirmed admission but they are too far from mine house and also this one is better than those I didn't get a seat at my rank in other colleges. And everything depends on student's choice of college and distance between college and home. The admission process is not as difficult. Management will guide about everything which is required for counseling and admission on website. Eligibility is that students should have atleast 70 percent in physics, chemistry, maths . Exams accepted for course are JEE and CUET. The exam prefered by most students is JEE. Cutoffs are like above 88 percentile in jee for other state students. And about above 79-81 percentile for home state students. Overall admission experience is good as management helps in which document required when and where to submit. Don't get strict if you forget any documents but give you time to submit.

Faculty and students ratio is approx 1: 15 . We can easily approach to faculty. I like almost all faculty on basis of their behaviour and Their support towards students. They always interact with students for our future. I think there is no faculty that I don't like. There is nothing by which I dislike any faculty. There are 2 midsems of 30 marks each from which their marks weightage reduced to 12.5 each and end sem exams are of 60 marks. Rest marks are based on attendance and assignment. I think curriculum is relevant but there are few subjects in 1st sem which I think they are irrelevant for btech students

There is gym in college in which you can exercise and libraries open from 9 am to 7 pm in which you can sit and read books and can do your work in a silent environment. You can roam in nearby mall . Hostel facility is not available in college so you have to take a pg. The locality around college is safe and easy connectivity with transport as bus and metro. Bus stand is opposite to college so students don't get any transport problem. Famous hangout place can be mall or any public place nearby college
