Dislikes
- The canteen is needed a upgradation for the students who are in the daily basis.
- The playground is quite small,and full of stone and sand ,it also needed a upgradation.
- The classroom has no airconditioner,in the summer it is very tough to survive in the second floor in the scorching heat.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of this course is value for money. I have chosen the course because it makes you industry, production ready . Also you can try the marketing department as well as the industry. You can also go for higher studies after completion of the course. You can give the examination called GPAT AND NIPER JEE after the b.pharm course.
Internships Opportunities
In the summer ( in the completion of 2 nd year) you will get a internship opportunity to visit the hospital pharmacy and took some idea about it. After 3 rd year you will be able to visit the industry (production) to grab some experience about the industry. Very less number of companies visits with stipend or paid internship opportunity for the students.
Placement Experience
The placement rate of our college is very good . Companies like macloeds, cipla, apollo, Glenmark,lupin , visits here to hire freshers in a decent amount. approx 65-70% students get placed in the campus,and reaming students are went for higher education in the different parts of the country.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee of our b.pharm is approximately 410000 The number is remaining unchanged in the past years. If you get any kind of scholarship from your school time then it is continue if you fail in the examination then it will stopped.The amount of the scholarship is around 60000 per semester .
Campus Life
Campus Life is very enjoyable and good. The annual tech fest, annual sports day is there for enjoyment. Freshers party is also organised by the students of 2 nd year. The year league including football, cricket, vollyball, badminton,,chess carrom is also organised by the sports club. The music club, dance club ,the nss team is also there to conduct various activities for the students.
Admission
I have chosen the college because of its history of GPAT AND NIPER JEE results . This college was the very first self financed college in west Bengal and the placement rate is overall good as compared to the different colleges in west bengal .Wbbjee is there to enter in this college.
Faculty
The faculty members are very supportive to the students. They are highly educated,most of them are m.pharm and p.hd holders in respective subjects. The faculty members are very helpful during the examination and they help a lot during preparation. There were such a faculty who doesn't help in the examination.
Night Life
Boys' hostel is not available.the night life in our college is not so good but it's ok ok type.the library is very spacious and many types of book is available for the students who are eagerly waiting for studies. The famous hangout place is the canteen and the outside of the canteen where the mango trees are full of .
