Though committees like student council and academic committee work as a mediator between students and the administration. Still, management here is really helpful in every aspect. They have a very smooth and efficient system that quickly responds to every query and problem of students.

The course curriculum of the institute is well structured and relevant to the courses ranging from Data Analytics to Workshop in communication skills. The students required to study all the subjects during their first year after which they can choose their course of specialization in their second year. The curriculum is updated and provides the students with all the necessary skills and knowledge required to make the student better professional.

IIM Rohtak boasts 100% placements in both the summer placements as well as the final placements. The placement committee of the institute is highly competitive devoted to getting the entire batch placed in the top-notch companies. Even though I am not placed yet but I am very confident that I will get placed in the upcoming months.

The college has a vast spectrum of events, which are conducted all-round the year. The events comprise of management events such as management submits, sports events, cultural events, social events. The annual event of the college "Infusion" is one of the largest B-school fests in India and last year witnessed participation from more than 50 colleges. Apart from the annual fest, the college also organizes startup expo, Tedx events, etc.

The fee structure of the course is divided term wise, wherein the amount is paid somewhat equally across the six terms. The total fees are approximately about 16,00,000 which includes accommodation charges along with the mess charges. The institute also provides medical insurance to cover the medical expenses of the students.

I haven't applied for any kind of scholarship yet, but the institute provides various kinds of scholarships. It also provides scholarships to the students for pursuing the CFA course which is one of the major benefits provided to a finance aspirant student.

The campus life of the college is very vibrant with the students from different parts of the country. The batch has a perfect mix of students with work experience as well as freshers. IIM Rohtak is one of the few colleges which has a 1:1 ratio of boys and girls. The college has a campus area of 200 acres with all the amenities. It has good wi-fi connectivity, library, well-equipped lecture rooms, student activity center, gym, etc.

The hostel fee is included in the first term fee. The hostel facilities are up to the mark with facilities such as wi-fi, common-room, AC, well furnitured and hot water. It has aq flat styled dorms with four rooms in one flat with a shared common area.

It's been 10 years since the inception of IIM Rohtak and eight batches of the college have already joined the workforce, with the alumni network getting stronger with each passing year, a separate committee, "alumni committee" maintains contacts with all the students. The network is very helping and is readily available when required. They even provide guidance for interviews and academic purposes.

I appeared for the CAT in 2018 and scored 98.16 percentile, based on which I got a call from the college for the interview process. We had two rounds in the interview process, the first round was the written assessment wherein we were required to write on a given topic which was a very relevant and current subject, after which the interview process began. I was further interviewed by a panel of three people after which I got an admission offer within a few months through an e-mail. The offer had to be accepted through the same mail, after payment of an initial amount. We were then required to visit the campus for further documents verification and submission and finally we got accepted in the college.

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and proficient. Other than the core faculty members, the institute also has various visiting faculties from the top-notch institutes of the countries. Besides regular classes, the institutes also organize a vast number of guest lectures conducted by top industry leaders.
