Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is pretty outdated so to speak as most of the extra subjects other than the core subjects are outdated and boring to study. the end sem exams are of 100 marks total, out of which 75 are for written and 25 are internal comprising of attendance,class tests,etc
Internships Opportunities
During BBA in our 2nd years summer break it is mandatory of IP university that we have to do an internship and prepare a report based on it which becomes a subject in our 5th sem.The colleges also brings multiple internship opportunities to the students.
Placement Experience
The college placement cell supported the interested student throughtout the final year so that they can get a good placement,good oportunities were brought forth for the students so the placements are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees was about 1 lakh 20 thousands annually for the 3 year bba and there was ews schemes for the students who are interested in them as well,The other course also had about the same fees(BCA, BAJMC).
Campus Life
The college has various clubs/socueties such as drama society, dance society, fashion society etc and it has good pressence in the NSS scene as well. Frequent drives were organised for causes like feeding the strays,orphanage/old age home visits Anugoonj is the main festival of jims.
Admission
when i was looking for BBA colleges in delhi,delhi university doesnt have any good colleges for students who dont have maths therefore IP uni was my best option and in the various ip colleges JIMS vk was the best for me because: 1-It ranks pretty high in IP 2-it was close to my home
Faculty
The faculty were all pretty good in their domains and they were all good teachers for their subjects, they teach with lots of inclusivity. The course is divided into semesters(6 sems) and all the sems have their differrent papers.
Night Life
there is not much night life around the college and considering the college doesnt have any hostel facilities this shouldnt even be a matter of concern.Locality wise the college is in south west delhi so Ambience mall and DLF Promenade are close by.
