Course Curriculum Overview

Msc.Biotechnology is a good course. The laboratory aspect has pushed me a bit to make the decision. Curriculum makes us academically good but not good for real world. College laboratory needs improvement in terms of installation of proper laboratory equipments. Teaching skills & class control methods needs improvement. Teaching should be made more industry based and practical based. Exam pattern is good, not very easy to pass, have to work hard to get good marks.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is Rs 60000 per year. College provides state scholarships facility students minimum 50% of the total fee per year that is around 30,000 There is no other extra unnecessary fee like lab fee or developmental fee throughout the course in the college.

Campus Life

Campus life is good as regular events, fests workshops, seminars & celebrations keep happening. Youth fest(annual),Vibhotshav(annual), Dj nights, Cultural Fests, open mic, etc keep happening every month. Library is very good will all necessary academic books and competitive books. Student cell and entrepreneur cell provides students opportunities too in academic career opportunities and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Admission

The reason i chose this collage because of manageable fee for the course in Uttar Pradesh, with good infrastructure, highly qualified faculty as compared to other colleges. Admission process is also easy.

Faculty

Faculty is very qualified, some maintain very good relation and are easily approachable. Faculty who are easily approachable, with good teaching skills and have good class control methods are best in my view. Few professors are arrogant, toxic and not easily approachable. I don't like such. I love the exam pattern. One exam per semester followed by one test, one quiz and one assignment. That's good enough. Its not very easy to pass the exam. Majority get pass. Course curriculum is good except installation of proper laboratory equipment is required for better education.

Night Life

Library is very good with all academic & competitive exams resources with nany other books. Gym is not as good, no proper equipments. Hostel infrastructure, food needs improvement. Hostel management is strict for girls. Cafeteria is good with apt pricing. Its safe to roam in the locality, cafeteria is one famous hangout place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .
