Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum in bachelors degree is created keeping students requirements in the mind. The college conduct classes separately for English and hindi medium students. The academic classes runs throught the year regularly. Teachers are very punctual and disciplined. The teaching methodology is quite comprehensive to the students. I recommend this college to new comers.

Internships Opportunities

5

Companies like big bazar, Hindustan media. Sea TV, Indusind bank used to carry camous drives for recruitment and internship. Mostly final year students were hired. We also had NCC Air wing in college. Students have 2 year participation in NCC to obtain B and C grade certificate for applying to the Defence forces as officers.

Placement Experience

5

I was preparing for UPSC exam during second year of B.sc course. The college used to call companies during job fairs organised in the college. Some of my friends joined SBI cards and a few joined newly launched Hindustan Newspaper in Agra. The placement cell have helped many students to get good jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college is unique as it was established by the britishers in 1850. The admission procedure is based on the combined average percentage of high school and intermediate exams. The admission fees in B.sc is quite reasonable and easily affordable. Special diacounts are available in fees for SC ST candidates. Moreover the scholarships are also available for students coming from economic weaker section of society. Merit based scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

5

The college is celebrating its foundation day every year since its inception. Students participate as per their skill and talent. Sports and CCAs are a part of college life. St.Johns college have its football team and basketball team which represents the college in intercollege and state level tournaments. College provides support and equipments to students who want to participate in aporta events.

Admission

I applied for this college only. Because it was the only college which ia preferred by the CBSE board students as the medium of instruction here was both english and hindi. I secured average marks in 10th and 12th class but still got admission in the first cutoff list. You need an average 70% marks in high school and intermediate to secure a place in the cut off list.

Faculty

5

There are science commerce and Arts faculties in the college. We have separate buildings for science and Arts faculties. The college has a huge strength and the support staff and professors are very humble and experienced. The annual exams are conducted yearly in kknth of march. 95% average is the passing rate in our college. Its the best college to pursue graduation.

Night Life

5

The campus is separated by a Road. Science faculty have a separate campus hostel, classes, playground and Library. Helly berry house hostel for girls and french bishop for boys. The library is very quite and and an ideal place to study. Followed by a garden on the opposite side where students relax in free lectures. Girls and boys have their separate common rooms inside the campus. The college security staff monitors every place to ensure safety of the students. Female wardons are hired to ensure security for girls residing in the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
