Likes

The teachers got industrial experience more than 15years
Rush full greenery around the campus area
Classes are on weekends as it allows you to work in the weekdays

Dislikes

There isn’t any culture activity or anything other than trekking
If you are ready to dedicate your whole time for work and study it’s good or else it would get difficult to handle

Course Curriculum Overview

As I mentioned earlier there are no extra curriculum apart from GALE. The teaching methods are good enough, the teachers are extremely knowledgeable which is the best part. Exams details are sent by UOM

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 590000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement are always active and keep sending job opportunities from their sources. They help you in training or building your CV or resume accordingly to the companies requirement. They coordinate with you well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is around 6L which is less when compared to other colleges . Fees depend on which course you choose so ask about it accordingly. There are additional fees for academic. Scholarship isn't availability

Campus Life

There are no extra curriculum apart from few festivals . There are few clubs for social activities there's no library. Theres no sport offered on campus and no sports day as such . Student groups are mostly active in bba not mba

Admission

It gave an interesting insight on how we can work and study together. Who doesn't want experiences while studying! Gems work study program is suitable for students who are passionate about learning ..

Faculty

In each class it's mostly 55-60 students and the teachers students ratio is appropriate. There are no extra curriculum apart from studying and working . Exam are chill. All the teachers are extremely knowledgeable.

Interview Experience

Yes there was a entrance exam and placement test are mandatory before your placements opportunities come in. There is a criteria of scoring at least 50% in the entrance exam and mostly it's based on general knowledge and English grammar.

Night Life

There's no gym , cafeteria, library but there is the famous Bangalore place located near the campus. Mostly please hangout near the campus tree . There their own hostel for students. It's affordable but food isn't that great

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

The title of my review were nice i have explianed my college pros and cons by completing two years of my graduation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

Admission:

My admission was based on the entrance exam conducted by the college, it was an online test. First, I fill out the form online and then took the entrance test and then visited the college to submit the required documents.

Best college with work and study Program

It's a work and study prog which is the advantage of this program. Gems B school is the only college in the country which has a different concept (work-study-work) to study management.
