Remarks
There are a no. Of positive remarks as the students get a pool of friends not only from India but also from outside India . The college infrastructure is very good and faculties and seniors are very supportive. The only negative fact is that the attendance is very strict and attendance less than 75% in any subject will lead to suspension from examination in that particular subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and covers every aspect minutely. We are even a taught a foreign language along with our course curriculum in order to enhance our vocabulary and enable us to know more languages so that we are free in terms of language
Placement Experience
The placements are good and all the top companies do come for placement. The placement track record is overall good and yes it does offer internship. The company offers internship depending upon the marks and academic performance of the student
College Events
The college is very cultural and almost all the festivals and occasions are celebrated . Being in Kolkata Durga puja is the most joyous festival in Kolkata and no doubt it is celebrated in a very joyous manner . All other festivals are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is a bit expensive as it charges around 62500 per semester for a bcom(H) course . But being a private institution and one of the leading colleges people tend to consider fees as affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was given a 50% scholarship which continued for the first two semesters and if the student secured a position in the top 10 in the entire course then the scholarship will be extended in the second year as well
Campus Life
The extra curricular activities are given due importance and the college promotes future in the curricular activities as well to the students . The college has a number of clubs which promotes various curricular activities
Hostel Facilities
No I have not opted for the hostel but I had various friends who have stayed in the hostel and have lead a luxurious life . The college is very good and luxurious and is very safe for girls as well as boys .
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students and the allumini are very friendly and supportive. They support the students right from the start of their college to the time they have passed out . They are always at our backs helping us lead a better college life and have a good academic performance.
Admission
I got admission through my merit. Merit as in STD 12 marks and percentage . On the basis of it I got a call regarding my selection in the course . I was even offered 50% scholarship based on my STD 12 marks .
Faculty
The faculties are very good and take their work very seriously. The students are even asked to do faculty feedback 2 times in every semester so that the students are able to communicate and share their problems and merits of the faculties .
