Btech computer science in ICFAI University Hyderabad

The course curriculum in ICFAI is very good compared to other colleges. Students don't have to put lot of efforts to pass the exams. Passing the exams are easy in icfai.icfai prepare it's own exam paper. The exam level is moderate to difficult. How ever putting a little effort is enough to pass the exam in icfai.

internship is provided for the students in the end of the 2nd year. Internship in infosys and TCS help to develop our efficiency. Work like debugging a program are done by the students.and another internship is provided in the end of 3rd year.

Placements in ICFAI are average. Around 70% of CSE students got placed in the year 2024. The average package students received is 7 LPA and the highest package is of 50 LPA. Companies like amazon, microsoft, mahendra, google, infosys, TCS, infotech, Qualcomm etc come for the campus interviews.

The fee for completing btech in CSE is 1050000. The fee can be paid every semester. There are no category based scholarships in icfai. You can avail scholarship based on the CGPA you get. The minimum cgpa to get scholarship is 8.0.

My overall experience with ICFAI is good. We have many clubs in which students can participate. Campus is green and eco-friendly. Students from various states come to ICFAI. Everyone can speak Hindi and English so there is no language based issues. There are classes with digital boards and projectors and library with full of subject related books.

Hostel are not that great compared to the fee they are taking. There are no air conditioning in hostel rooms. And no attached bathrooms. Rooms are small. however rooms are clean. Everyday there will be different menu for food and food is good and hygiene.

I applied for gitam University Hyderabad earlier but gitam Hyderabad is not a big campus compared to ICFAI Hyderabad and gitam Hyderabad does not have many grounds and courts like icfai. Even fee is more in gitam compared to icfai. To join ICFAI student need to pass their 12th. An interview is taken by the ICFAI admission office. If the students pass the interview he/she is eligible for taking admission in ICFAI .

Faculty is high qualified and everyone is PhD holder. Every professor is friendly with students. Exams are conducted every month. Each semester there will be 3 exams mid 1, mid 2 and end sem. overall marks are 100 in which students need to score 40 to pass the exam. Each student has a mentor. Students can talk to their mentors regarding any problem they are facing.

I have applied for the admission and they took interview of me based on the 12th class subjects. Questions are easy and can be easily answerd. After the interview I have recieved a mail in 24hrs that I have passed the interview. They charged me 20000 as admission fee. Which does not include in the college fee.

Main library will be open until 6 pm. Students are not allowed to go out of the campus after 10pm. There are open gates but security is very strict with CCTV cameras. Gyms are open until 11pm. Students can rome inside the campus overnight but not allowed to go oout of the campus
