Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is well relevant as in 1st year onwards only we have workshops for mechanical branch which prepares us for industry experience . In vacations we have internships / workshops in college also which train us with hands on project and experience. You can also go in the tech field if you are interested even from MAE branch . College offers multiple extra courses which we can opt besides our curriculum . I chose this branch as I am deeply interested in automation field and this college provides the best training for that . Some of our teams have won competitions nationally also .

Internships Opportunities

5

According to stats top companies including FAANG come in our college . The highest ctc offered was of motorq that was 1Cr. Microsoft with 51 Lacs , Adobe with 56 Lacs , Google , amazon , wells fargo , natwest and many more . For Internships also : Microsoft (1.25 lacs per month) , wells fargo (90k per month) , google step also , then adobe(1 lac per month) , natwest ( 50k per month) and lots more . Uber start internship is also there. Linkedin coachin program .

Placement Experience

5

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee structure with yearly amounts are roughly Rs 1,44,500 , Rs .1,45,000 , Rs. 1,55,000 & Rs, 1,75,000. - along with an avg hostel fee of approx Rs 5 lac which is quite appropriate considering the facilities provided . ALL OF MY BATCHMATES HAVE SIMILAR FEE STRUCTURE and the college ensures that the value offered matches the investment . Moreover, the college offers substantial financial support , especially for SC/ST students , who are eligible for complete fee waivers. In addition to that, the collage promotes various scholarships such as the Pragati Scholarship , ensuring that deserving students are encouraged and supported throughout their academic journey.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience has been vibrant this year especially in terms of social life , clubs , and fests. The library is well stocked with books , research paers, magazines, guides supporting academic needs. Classrooms are also equipped with smart boards , proejctors and centralised ACs . There are several student run social groups like ROTARACT CLUB for community service. The campus promotes sports with facilities like swimming , basketball , cricket and also NCC Training. Annual fest is TAARANGANA held around in feb which is the major highlight for students .

Admission

I got here by giving JEE MAINS . I also filled some IPU colleges and DTU and even got some of them as well but I chose this over them because firstly the crowd over here is very decent . Secondly , here competition is less compared to other colleges and placement is mind blowing , almost same to other jac colleges. This college has its reputation in companies while IPU colleges do not stand at that level .

Faculty

4

The faculty members , including our HOD are cooperative and apporachable. They are always ready to help , especially when it comes to guidance for research papers and projects. Our MAE branch has around 50 students making it manageable and allows better interaction with teachers. In first year , most subjects except 1 or 2 are common for all branches and from second year onwards , core subjects related to our branch takes place .

Night Life

3

As a day scholar , I haven't explored much of the nightlife , but the colege is very safe with a police station nearby and guards on duty at night . The metro station is at wallking distance . There a cafeteria and a nescafe outlet that stays open late and offers snacks and everything. There a canteen which I think for day timings only (I'm not sure) . Hostel food is suprisingly good in taste and very hygienic . Overall , its calm and secure at night . (Mostly students are studying at night onyl !)

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
