Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose BA LLB to combine my passion for law and social sciences, aiming to develop a comprehensive understanding of the legal system and its impact. This integrated approach enables me to critically analyze socio-legal issues and advocate for justice and equity efficiently. If anything to improve, the college should focus on more practical ways to teach. The college has a very small campus, however, conducts good fests and the training and placement cell helps you get good internships and make connections.

Internships Opportunities

3

While some students secure internship and job offers through their own efforts or external networking, and overall placement cell provided by college lacks consistency and transparency. There are many students who are interning under top tier law firms and chambers and also judicial internships, like azb partners, dentons link, Cyril, trilegal. I don't have any personal data about paid internshipss.

Placement Experience

3

Symbiosis Law School, Noida, achieved approximately 36% placements for B.A. LL.B. students, with packages ranging from 2.4 LPA to 19.2 LPA, averaging 10.8 LPA. Top recruiters include Ernst & Young, AZB & Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, and Khaitan & Co. The Training and Placement Cell facilitates internships with reputed firms. Roles offered include Legal Researcher and Legal Document Drafter. The college provides a strong foundation for legal careers with robust industry connections.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sls fees course fee for whole five is around 20.75 lakhs excluding hostels. As hostel are only provided to female student of 1-2nd yr so many students opt for PG and flats. Fees is increased by 10% every year while 1st year academic fees is around 2,50,000rs. As for scholarships, semester topper always gets awarded based on academic excellence, a min. GPA of 8.50 and there is other scholarships for sc/st students too. And there is no income limit of parents in these semester scholarships, whoever can avail it

Campus Life

4

Symbiosis Law School Noida hosts various events and fests throughout the year. These include academic events like moot court training sessions, cultural events like the "Symfiesta" fest, grand celebration with a Valedictory Ceremony and so many social activities like legal aid clinic works, ADR cells etc. The college also hosts events like guest lectures, workshops, and competitions and training courses.

Admission

I appeared for many law entrance examinations like clat, ailet, slat, mhcet and so on. I have around 4.3k rank in clat and can easily get any tier-3 nlus. But Symbiosis law school have that brand name and locational advantage with so much exposure which really attracted me. As students often don't know there long term goals, so I would always advise them to take that college who excels in all diverse paths. And SLS noida is doing exactly that. Sls noida cutoff for in slat is around 29-36. But it all depends on personal interview afterwards

Faculty

4

Teachers are helpful and approachable, and they are also knowledgeable in their domains, helping anytime you go to them. The curriculum is relevant and well-designed for students to manage academics along with other extracurricular activities. The course is well-designed, keeping in mind the necessity of the industry and coping with the standards, making students ready for an industry-practical approach. The difficulty level for the semester exams is slightly higher yet well-designed according to what one has studied throughout the semester; for that, classroom lectures are very crucial.

Interview Experience

2

After clearing slat cutoff for college, we have around 10-15 days left to prepare for personal interview round. There were 2 teachers at my time, and both were very supportive and nice. As my personal experience, i would advise you to get morning slot and in starting days, as faculty mood influences most of your interview marks. I would say for prep, read last 4-5 months current affairs, have proper grasp of legal basics and know where your interest lies. At last they will notice how clam and confident you are

Night Life

3

There are two cafeteria in college, and a huge library with 2500 books and e books. Hostel time is till 10 PM. And location is also very good, so no problem of safety and premises. There are many pg and flats nearby. Many events are organised by college for example cultural gathering, halloween costume party etc. also there are many cafes, clubs, good Hangout habits places for pottery etc.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities right from the first year. As I'm already on the verge of graduating in the next two months, I've seen the faculty and management put more attention to the Training and Placement Cell. Big companies like Deloitte, HCL and Austrian Migration Lawyers like Loch Corporate have taken interns from the law school at DME. This being said, I have high hopes from the Placements as well. I plan on working in the corporate and later this year appearing in Clat PG for the masters.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at the college are quite decent and provides students with a good platform to start their career students usually becomes eligible for placement in their final year but the college starts focusing on internship and skill development on early semester itself. This helps students gain practical exposure and build a strong cv before they sit for final placement. Usually hardworking and eligible students who focuses from the begining get placements through college after completing my degree my plan to gain practical experience by working in a corporate legal role or with a law firm to build strong skills and industry exposure the placement percentage at the college is moderate with a fair number of students getting placed each year
