Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum at PVPSIT is decent and covers most of the core topics needed for our branch one reason I chose this course was the balance between theory and the practical labs which can help us in understanding the concepts way better as it does prepare us for the real world applications to some extent but a few subjects kind of feel outdated and could include more industry relevant content like modern tools And the new technologies that have been emerging the teaching methods are also kind of traditional which and adding more hands on projects would make it better . we have 2 mid exams and final exam each semester these exams are manageable if you keep up with the classes but can feel tough if you rely on last minute study i've done this so many times so I can assure this one. Overall the curriculum is good but needs a bit of updating to match the current industry trends.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college will offers good Internship opportunities through its placement sale the companies like TCS Infosys and cognizant will provide it internships with stipends of 5000 to 15000 /month . Core companies like L &T will also offer internship for the mechanical and electrical students their project will involve software development testing and industrial tasks helping the students gain practical experience and will improve their skills the college will also support internships with startups for more industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

3

Ata college students become eligible for policemen from 7th semester the companies like TCS Infosys recruitment accident visit regularly the highest package was 16 lpa in 2025 with an average of 4.24 .5 lpa about 75 to 80% of the students got placed most of them in the it roles. after graduating i planned to work in industry and then pursue further studies or certifications. the placement support is good but more core companies would help the non it students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm studying Btech at Prasad Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology under EWS category through AP EAPCET counselling. My yearly fees 77,000 covering tuition and other charges and it has remained the same for all four years bringing the total course cost to about 3.08 lakh whereas the sc or st students who are admitted through counselling will get full tuition reimbursement under the state scheme and pay only minimal charges which can include the training fees etc which can be optional and the general category counselling students will also pay a similar amount which is while the management quota fee ranges from 100,000 to 1,50,000 per year fees . The ews and general counselling students have been stayed stable in the recent years and there are various scholarship schemes that the students can rely on like jvd so that they can pay their tuition easily with no hassle. There are various National scholarship portal schemes and private scholarships like Sitaram Jindal which can give up to a small amount to pay the college tuition.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus life experience has been positive especially in terms of social activities the college hosts two major annual events sitar and annula day these both events will offer opportunities to participate in the competitions and social gatherings helping the students bond beyond academics the library is also well equipped with a wide range of textbooks and reference books and journals which are relevant to the engineering and the technology there are access to the online journals and the digital resources which can make any research easier the sports facilities will include cricket volleyball and any indoor games like chess and will help the students to stay active and participate in the tournaments there are also various student run clubs like coding club, Art and crafts club, sports club etc . overall the pvpsit provides a balanced environment with good academic resources and vibrant extracurricular activities making this campus life enjoyable and happy.

Admission

I chose this college mainly because of its good reputation in academics and the decent placement records and has a supportive faculty I have also applied for few other engineering colleges through the counselling and I got confirmed admission from one other college but pvpsit stood out for its better infrastructure when compared to others and also I did not face any rejections as my rank was good enough to get administration here in the first counselling round but due to my irresponsible web options order I didn't get it in the first counselling but I managed to get it in the second counselling. So the admission process was straightforward eligibility required passing 12th grade with physics chemistry and mathematics and the main exam accepted was apm sit and the cut offs vary each year based on the branch and this process will involves online counselling option entry and the document verification after which the seat allotment was done overall acid for me it was smooth and went quite well.

Faculty

4

At our College the faculty are generally friendly and very approachable and the student to faculty ratio is good enough so that you can get personal attention when needed . most of them will explain concepts clearly and will give real life examples which can help us a lot whereas some could use more updated teaching methods but overall they are kind of supportive I personally liked a teacher (can't reveal the name) for their interactive style and the patience in clearing doubts. The course follows the JNTUK guidelines with core subjects electives and the labs there are few topics which feel outdated but the overall structure is decent we have two mid exams assignments and one final exam per semester and there are two semesters per year. these internals can carry 30 marks and the externals will carry 70 marks. the exams are not too hard if you prepare regularly and only a small number of students will fail usually due to the poor attendance or the lack of practice .Overall the faculty student relationship is good .

Night Life

4

Nightlife around pvp asset is generally calm and safe as the campus closes by 8:00 PM with hostels allowing entry until 10:00 PM the college cafeteria will close by 5:00 PM so they will late night snacks are usually from the outside and the library is open till 8:00 PM so late night studying mostly happens in the hostels or rooms there is inside the campus. There are various popular hangout spots which can include the college counting during the day or students tend to go out to the nearby cafes and and local eateries close to College after the classes many students unwind by playing sports hanging out in common areas or watching movies together in the hostels which adds to the friendly campus atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
