A review on MVGR college of engineering

The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both fundamental concepts and emerging technologies. Can be improved in introducing hands-on industry-led workshops in the early years. mid exams are held after every 8 weeks course of a semester and after 2 mid exams you will have an end semester exam and coming to the difficulty level it is easy to moderate.

College provides various opportunities for virtual internships like aws, aicte, cisco, etc. if you are a bright student then approach faculty and with the help of faculty's connection you can get an internship opportunities.

Placemets are preety decents the average package is 550000 and the highest package is 2500000 for the last academic year. from 7 sem students will be eligible for campus placemets. Companies like tcs, infosys, capgemini, and other top it companies comes here for placements.

cultural activities and events are very rare here we hardly have on annual day held in march every year and if mood persists they organize flashmobs. You will find many books and journals of every field and one can prepare for government exams in the library, you can find books for preparing. There is no importance for sports here.

College hostel fee is 95000 and the lifestyle and food at college hostel is decent. Best is to rent a room or join a pg nearby college you will find many pg and rooms in the college surroundings itself which will cost you less than 6000 per month including food.

I applied to many other colleges like jntu-gv, gmrit. I choose mvgr over others is because of the placements it offered and had a positive reviews from others about this college. The admission process are based on ap eamcet and management quota. for ap eamcet the cutoff for general category is 16000. Overall admission process is smooth.

The faculty-to-student ratio is preety good and the faculty to student relationship is friendly, it is very rare to find a faculty getting frustrated on students. Exams are somewhat easy, maximum of the class finds it easy to pass the exams and the course curriculum matches to the industry needs.

No there any such kind of gd, interview, or written test for admission. Admission process here is simple. but if you want to join via eamcet you must get a rank of 15000 in cse for general category and getting admission through eamcet is also easy.

Campus in timings is from 5.00 am and campus out timings is till 7.30pm. Hostellers do get outing permissions(till 8.00pm). College and hostel both have gym facilities(till 7.30pm). Locality is safe. College environment is also good.
