- College campus is very small compared to other colleges around 2.5 acre
- Sometimes you wont get to play all the sports as the college playground is small
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course follows the syllabus of VTU which you can check on the VTU website. The curriculum is being updated but still a bit outdated but can manage as there are many online sources nowadays so not a big deal.
Internships Opportunities
I haven't yet had the internship opportunity yet but seniors did intern for JP Morgan and Amazon as well as Walmart. SO if they get convert, they'll get around 20+ lpa, which is great for a fresher and considering the market the placement has been good for this college
Placement Experience
Placements is happened in combination with the RVCE , as for our seniors the highest package was around 33 lpa and the lowest was around 3.6 lpa with the average of the class being around 9 lpa. This is very good considering the market
Fees and Financial Aid
As i came from KCET i think the price per year would be around 1.2 lakhs, and for the entire course it'll be around 4.8 lakhs, with each year it being increased by a small amount. ALso you have to pay extra around 10k per year for registration and exam fee which will be added to your expense. Management fee will be much higher around 7-8 times of the given price
Campus Life
Campus life is not that good as there is nothing except college in the area but you still can have fun and also participate in many many clubs which RVITM has. So i think this will be good enough and you can also visit rvce if needed.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel costs around 170000 per year and the food is okayish, but the maintenance and cleaning of the room is very good. You can opt for either two-sharing or three sharing rooms and stay there , compared to pg in the area the hostel is quite expensive.
Admission
I chose this college because of the placements. As RVITM students have combined placements with RVCE, we get to sit for good companies like Amazo, Swiggy, and Zomato ,which is a very great opportunity in iteself. So if you build your skills you'll have the opportunity to get better jobs
Faculty
Faculty members are quite good and friendly as most of them are Phd holders or pursuing a Phd. They also help us if we want to do some extracurricular or any hackathon. We can also get to use their knowledge and publish papers, which will help us with our resume.
Night Life
Nightlife is not yet a big thing around college as there is nothing in the area but you can still find bangalore quite good for nightlife and visit church street which is in okayish distance from the college
