Course Curriculum Overview

Our course curriculum is very nice.Out of 100, 50 marks come under internals and the other 50 are end sem marks. We have two sessionals of 15 marks each and the other 20 marks are of 4 assignments(surprise quizzes) each of 5 marks.

Placement Experience

As far as i have heard they’re very good placements and job oppurtunities. Since i’ve just come to 2nd year i don’t know much but about the internships they provide good stipend. We have been shown so many internships abroad and also semester abroad.

College Events

Tech Tatva- it is a technical fest in college during which the technical clubs showcase what all they’ve been doing that particular academic year and these technical clubs participate in competitions in and outside India. Revels- It is the cultural fest of our college and many other people come during this time and lot of competitions take place

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure varies.There are lot of scholarships available based on merit list.It differs for Indians and NRI’s also.If our rank is 1-100 we are given 100% scholarship , if 100-1000 the scholarship varies for every 100 ranks. The normal fee structure without any scholarship is a bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have AICTE scholarships for which income should be below 6 lakhs, Localites have a seperate scholarship and seperate ranking list, student loans are offered by indian bank in udupi, merit based scholarships are also given.

Campus Life

For sports we have marena which is the best place a college can ever have. We have all sports iver there. Basketball,swimming,table tennis,badminton,running track and all sports. We have a very huge gymnasium where all college students of MAHE are allowed.

Alumni/Alumna

We have notable alumni and alumni network is the main fetching for so many clubs. Our college has buddy program where seiors help juniors and this makes many juniors get familiar with the college and events happening there.

Admission

We have an entrance exam out of 200 marks and ranks are given based on marks.Each branch has a fixed intake and once the seats are full that’ll be the cut off.We can write the exam 3 times and best out of 3 will be considered.

Faculty

Faculty of our college is pretty good.We are free to ask doubts during class and later also.We can approach them in their cabin and they’re willing to explain any nunber of times and they’re equally strict during quizzes and exams.They are friendly which makes the classroom environment quite comfortable.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
