Course Curriculum Overview
I have liked computer science from so long That's why I chose this course and it's the best course for people who don't like to do their works which requires man power and requires them to move from place to place.
Internships Opportunities
The interships happen mainly in core branches and technology branches. They get most of the placemts by the internships also. But in CSE branches there are not that much internships but still some of them find decent internships.
Placement Experience
the students become elegible for placements by the final year but the internships start by the 3rd year mainly. The placements offered this year were 59 out of which 51 were placed. the total placement percentage was 62.4 for CSE branch. The highest placement percentage was in chemical branch with also the highest package. The average package of CSE branch was around 5 to 8 lakh and the highest was around 14 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for 1st year is 135000 and after that for all other years is 127500. The tuition fees is 75000, registration fees is 30500 and all other courses which are also included in the charges. there is also TFW which is 67500 something.
Campus Life
There are mainly 3 fests in this college which are named as ADHYAAY, AAGAZ and TECHNIKA. they happen mainly in the month of march or april ADHYAAY is the cultural fest in which there are DJ nights, dance, prom nights etc. AAGAZ is the sports fest in which other colleges slso comes to take part. Technika is the technical fest. THere are a number of clubs and two of them are tech clubs which are funded by students and not college.
Hostel Facilities
THe hostel room is the worst. The whole almirah is broken and is held by rope by us. The authorities have still not repaired it even after many complains. The food quality is not so good but average sometimes. If you are looking for pg or flat there are a lot of them behind the campus at reasonable prices.
Admission
I applied for Jadavpur University and PEC university but couldn't get admmison in them because of high cut-off. This college was 3rd in my list. You can get admission in this college through Jee mains but by applying in HBTU counselling.
Faculty
The facult as I said is not co-operative and are rude to students. They start shouting at you if you request something from them. They won't listen to your request also and are very rude. I think most of the faculties here is like that.
Night Life
The hostel gate closes at 10 am so the nightlife is not so good here. There is a gym in the campus which I think is good for basic workout. The favourie hanging spot is the garden in front of main building.
