Likes

Good campus, fest in college are enjoyful
Health services are available 24×7 [hospital NITT]
Sports compitition are fairly no politics.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not teaching very well it's sound like Tamil+ english accent.
Cycle robbery. Some faculties not get serious about cycle robbery
Some rules are not good for students but faculty does not change the old rules .

Course Curriculum Overview

In modern world some changes in course . Improve teaching quality . Teach theoretically and also practically . You gaps in exam 2 or 3 days prepare for next exam . Teacher please clear the doubts all students in exams.

INSTITUTE FEE all 4 yrs is = 2 lakh HOSTEL and MESS FEE all 4 years is = 4 lakh I got only one scholarship in 2 yr from kotak suraksha scholarship. Me and my batchmates are belong OBC, EWS, General category

Campus Life

The good fest of NITT Festember, nitfest , pragyan, sportfete. Some are culture fest . Some are knowledge. Some are educational. Fest . Some are western culture fest. World all educational book available in NITT library. Digital classroom are also available . Yes some students have our personal clubs .

Admission

Because of an NIRF ranking. Everyone create a hype of college. But the reel life is different and real life is different . Somthing are original but but somthing are false. The admission process is fair. The admission process is through Joasa around . It's good site of Indian government for admission of jee candidates.

Faculty

All courses Two or three credits .Exam get very strictly. Marking is average .Paper is to tough .Lab exams are good . Someone get cheating in exam faculty will given F in exam . Some questions are in exam out of syllabus . It's like an gate entrance exam

Night Life

Gym also available . But only minimum slot are available for gym . Swimming also available but minimum slots are available . In Cafeteria Western foods and fast foods are available . First year are restricted in hostel . After 1st year everyone got freedom for extra activities.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
